 Heather "Pepe" Adams♮Tuba ♯Sophomore ~Don't make me...~ Heather opened her eyes, before stretching. Looking over at her calender, which had a bunch of red x's on it for the days that had passed, she realized what today was, even though she had been waiting for this day to come for weeks now. It was the day the other students came to the school once again. Unlike them, Heather lived here all year round, helping with maintenance and whatnot. The same questions that had been going through her mind since the beginning of August kept repeating itself. Who am I going to room with? Will she be a noob? What will the show be? Will it be as life-threatening as last years? They must have been trying to kill off the weaklings last year, cause that was rediculous. But anyhoo~, she had too much energy, so much energy that tending to the garden, cleaning the pool and jacuzzi, and chasing butterflies wouldn't tire her. ~...open up a can of white girl can't dance~

Karen, struggling under the weight of a suitcase, duffle bag and instrument, walked up through the halls of an unfamiliar building, hoping she was in the right place. Finding an empty corner, she dropped her stuff and retrieved a crumpled map from her jacket pocket. Scrutinizing it for a seconds, she glanced down the hallway. Her hallway. Oh. Stuffing the map back in her pocket, she grabbed her euphonium and suitcase, then scuttled down the hallway to the door of what she supposed was her dorm. Before fishing out they key they'd given her, she tried the door handle. It was unlocked. She opened the door and blinked in surprise because it seemed that someone had been living here... for at least a month. She was confused, but she didn't question it. Dragging her suitcase behind her, she stepped in timidly but stopped once more when she saw the other person in the room. Feeling very awkward, she stammered. "Uh... hi. I'm Karen."
...but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.

 Heather"Pepe" AdamsSousaphone/Bass Guitar~Don't make me...~Pepe was pulled away from her thoughts at the sound sound of a door opening. Wait...that means something....what was it?...oh! Right! Roommate! She immediately sat up at the sounds of another person's voice, moving so inhumanly fast it wasn't funny. She scanned the girl quickly, searching for an instrument. Her eyes stopped at the euph case. "Sweet, they didn't give mea woodwind." she said. Pepe's manners weren't the best out there, but there were far worst...most being men. "Hello! The name's Pepe." she said, a large grin appearing on her face. "Nice to meet ya." ~...open up a can of white girl can't dance~

Intimidated by the girl's whirlwind energy, Karen nonetheless forged onwards into the room. Dumping her duffle bag and suitcase on the floor near the bed - her bed - though she set down the euph with a bit more care. She turned back towards the other girl - Pepe. A quick search revealed no instrument case in the room. Must be in the band room then. A safe topic to start with. "You seem to know your way around here, so maybe you could help me find the band room?" She gestured to the case.
...but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.

Heather"Pepe" AdamsSousaphone/Bass Guitar~Don't make me...~Pepe sensed that she was...not quite scaring her roommate, but something somewhat close. Maybe...intimidating? Pepe mentally laughed at this. She couldn't even intimidate a...hm...well, now that she thought about it, she was pretty scary at times. So maybe she shouldn't have been so surprised at Karen's behavior. But Pepe couldn't help it! "Maybe I could...if I felt like it." she said, in a false cold-like tone. But after a few seconds, she said "Of course I will! Though" she paused for a moment "what made you want to march the euph? You aren't ah...the most um..." she wasn't sure how to put it. Shaking her head, she said "Well, anyway, Jedi's gonna expect a lot out of you. What with keeping the horn up and all." Realizing she was starting to get off track, she said "Well then." Jumping off of the bed, she walked past the girl, and opened the door leading out to the halls. "This way~" ~...open up a can of white girl can't dance~(( okay, so you're next post should be posted in the band room. fyi. ))
