Aidan M'Ordant Kattalakis Aidan followed behind Asume, still staying close. When he noticed Asume's reaction to the meat section he felt a pang of guilt that grew when he heard the two talking. When they started walking away from the meat department he looked to Asume and said softly. "If the meat bothers you, you don't have to get it for me. I don't have to have it, I just wanted it since all I had eaten for a few weeks was very bad gruel." Aidan walked next to Asume now, his tail just slightly twitching underneath the shirt that Asume had wrapped around his waist. He looked to Asume and spoke softly. "Asume, may I ask why you took me to your home? No one has ever taken me, they normally yell at me to get away or try and hurt me." He shivered slightly as a few memories of close calls flashed through his mind. (())

Asume let him talk before he stopped. His hair hid his eyes as he spoke. "The world can be very cold at times, it can be harsh and unloving..." He said in a deep tone. He sounded almost like his brother but he broke the cold expression as he looked up, a sparkle in his eyes as he rubbed his head. "So I gotta help those around me and keep this world warm and welcoming! Plus, I like cats", he said nudging him slightly. He truly did like cats but Tsume hated them. He kept on walking, picking up a few things for himself and some chips here and there before making it to the front and paying for his things.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan followed Asume and when he stopped Aidan did as well. He looked to Asume with a tilt of his head, trying to keep his ears from perking up slightly. His listened to Asume and gave a nod of his head. He knew how unkind the world could be, even more so to those who were different. When Asume broke the seriousness with a sparkle to his eyes and a nudge to Aidan's side Aidan laughed slightly as he started to follow Asume again. "I sort of figured that you liked cats when you spotted me. I just thought you would not act so kind once you knew what I was since most people see me as a freak or monster." Aidan followed Asume to the front of the store excited to get out of the store so he didn't have to smell the different scents that wafted throughout the store. ((Sorry for taking so long dear.))

Asume laughed lightly as he paid for the stuff and headed out of the store. He hummed lightly as he walked down the usual path back to his home. He didn't like New York as much, the air stung his nose but this was where Tsume had settled down and he followed him everywhere. He was afraid to lose his brother again. It was sometimes hard to keep up with their connection when Tsume shut him out all the time. "You know...How could I be shocked of you when I'm not human myself?" He finally broke the silence.
He trotted up the stairs and headed to his apartment on the first floor. He liked to be settled on the ground.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan looked to Asume when he spoke, trying hard to keep his ears and tail from moving too much until they were inside again. At Asume's words Aidan gave a shrug as he spoke. "I can't tell how some would react to me. I only risked approaching you because I saw you move faster then most people and thought you might not react like others have." Aidan followed Asume up the stairs to his apartment and waited for the door to be open so that they could enter. The bandanna and shirt around his waist were bothering his ears and tail but he wouldn't complain since they had kept him from being hurt or whatever could have happened to him. (())

Asume pulled out his keys and unlocked the door and headed in. He had once left his door unlocked until he found it torn up and wrecked. He always had to learn the hard way; he was stuck in the times of old when people were actually nice. Well, when he was living with the elves, you could leave your house practically open and no one would steal anything. He closed the door when they both were in and went straight to the kitchen putting away the few things he bought. Turning on the heat, he oiled the pan and placed it over the flames and let it get hot enough before he began to cook the steak.

Aidan M'Ordant KattalakisAidan followed behind Asume still and once the door was open he stepped inside and moved out of the way. When Asume was in the house Aidan followed Asume to the kitchen wanting to help put things away but not knowing where things went. He stood off to the side as Asume started the pan to cook the steak. Aidan's stomach grumbled a little as he removed the bandanna and shirt. He looked about for a place to put them and not seeing a place he stepped out to the living room and folded them and laid them down on the couch. "Ah, thats much better." He sighed to himself as his tail started to swish about and her ears started to twitch and move as he walked back into the kitchen. "T-Thank you again for buy and cooking the steak for me A-Asume." (())
