A new scent made the young male stop in his tracks. What was it? Female, no doubt! Riitho scanned his surroundings for the beauty... who knew he'd find his companion so soon!? But wait - Oh crap! His face and paws were filthy with blood! He couldn't be seen in this condition! Hastily he swept his tongue across his paw which swiped his face in turn as he hopped on the other paws towards the scent. He could only hope he was presentable by the time he reached the lady, but his eagerness prevented him from investing any more time in his pastel coat.

A looooooooong sigh escaped the slightly parted lips of a dark leopard with bright blue limbs. Her equally bright blue tail swished and flicked a bit annoyingly. It was far too hot today for her liking. Convinced that she should have been born into a snow leopard family, the cool colored leopardess sough the comfort of shade to lye down and take a nap. Stretching her front limps and arching her back, she let out a precious dainty yawn, flicked the tips of her prim and proper ears, swayed her backside in the most graceful of motions, and gently lowered herself to the earth. Her sky blue gaze scanned around her for any signs of danger before she gently let them slip shut.
However, she had hardly gained but five minutes of peace when some manner of noise caught her attention....and it was getting closer. Raising her head in a regal manner, her dark teal colored nose sniffed the air ever so tenderly. Cheetah...and blood. His blood? Well it was hard to tell since it was plastered all over his scent. She was curious now...and slightly a bit irritated. She really did hate company sometimes....most times. Actually always. And yet her desire to find "the one" kept leading her into situations where she was presented with the most undesirable companions. She could only guess that this would be another, while a sliver of thought hoped otherwise.

Riitho stopped at a decent distance from the leopard as he tried to manage his fur before presenting himself. Looking quite disheveled and unprepared, the young cheetah stood with his chest out and tail erect in an attempt to look majestic. Dirty, straggly pink bangs fell over his blue eyes as he began his trot towards the beautiful leopard. And she was a catch! The smug feline observed her curves, her smooth... touchable body, far superior to any of his own kin. The mere sight of her murdered quite a few of the young male's braincells.
"Hey there, baby cakes." His smug expression only widened as he got closer, his eyelids drifting lazily over his eyes. "I'm headin' down to the lake for a drink. You're too delicious to leave behind... whatcha say you ride wit me?" The cheetah stooped to her level so she could properly behold his gorgeous... albeit bloodstained and dirty... face and the wiggle of his eyebrows that smoothly followed his words. At this close range the inexperienced boy was also daring enough to check out her curves again!

The audacity. The nerve. Who did this cheetah think he was anyways? Some superior sex god? Pffft. He needed to think again. And not only take a sip from the lake, but a bath as well.
Her nose wrinkled and her eyes narrowed at him. "You'd do well to refrain from pet names on first meetings." she said coolly and licked her paws. Despite him being annoying, her face held a calm, gentle, and a wee bit seductive smile. "I have a name. And if you ask nicely, I may give it to you." she said, taking a moment to eye him as well. As far as cheetahs go, he wasn't half bad. But then again she wasn't a cheetah, and glad for it.
Disregarding his brow wiggle and his ever wandering eyes, she sat up delicately, lifted a paw, swiped a long pink tongue over it, and ran it across the side of her face. If she had long flowing hair, she would have tossed it to the wind for one of those dramatic slow motion close ups, but instead, she did what she could with what she was given. "And unfortunately, I think I will have to decline your request." she began with a sigh then added with a bit of sternness to her voice.

Whoa, that was weird. Weren't woman supposed to swoon and faint when he said stuff like that? Maybe he did something wrong... maybe he selected the wrong pet name with this particular girl... Or something. Ah well, he'd review his performance later! Right now he still had a gorgeous leopardess with an alluring voice to claim his own.
"Awh, pet names make the world go 'round, babe! M'name's Riitho... butchu can call me whatever yah like." The grin never faded as he lifted a small paw to let the leopardess reposition herself. Oooooh boy, that is a hot body. Once she seemed comfortable, Riitho swung his rear around and bumped her hips with his own as he sat in one fluid motion. "C'mon babe, I hear it's the greatest tastin' water in all of Africa!" The cheetah chuckled at his own poorly executed joke as he curled his slender tail around her smooth form.
She wanted to go with him. He could feel it. Besides... Yes means no and no means yes, right? Women were so weird that way!

Oooh he was getting more and more annoying buy the minute. It was creatures like him that caused the leopard to stray away from others. With a sigh, she narrowed her eyes again, took a breath, lowered her paw to the ground, and turned her gaze to meet him, her warm smile back on her face. "Pleasure to meet you Riitho. My names Annastaezia, and you will call me that, and only that." she said as she eyed his tail as it slowly crept around her body.
She did not approve of this.
In her own swift, fluid motions, she stood and took a few padded steps away from him, her body naturally dipping with each curve the great gods gave her. As she swung her head back over her shoulder, she smiled at him again. "Your sweet. And your young. Neither are traits I hold in high regard." she said as she gently flicked her ears. "Besides, I've had my fill of water for this evening, but I do thank you for the offer." she said, gently flicked her tail and began to slowly find another shaded tree to lie under.

"Annastaezia... it's gorgeous. But not quite as gorgeous as that as-..." Riitho's eyes widened as he quickly censored himself. Women weren't attracted to swear words... like a**. "Butt." She'd like a compliment like that, right?! The uncertain cheetah frowned as the leopard swiftly started off... but wait... the lake is in the opposite direction! Maybe she just needed a reminder.
He would have vocalized this, but Riitho didn't realize the sway of her body put him in a trance that rendered him completely useless. His blue eyes glazed over, and his tongue mindlessly slipped from between his lips... When she was nearly out of sight he quickly snapped out her trap and sped towards with the speed of the cheetah he was.
"Wait!" He caught up with ease, slowing to a steady trot when he met her. "Where are you goin', sweets? We just met!" Now that his first attempts had failed, it was time to improvise... Uh oh. "You don't have to drink at the lake, y'know... you could just uh... Sit n' chat with me. That sounds nice, right?" That's the last thing Riitho wanted to do with this beauty... But it'd have to do if he wanted to get to home base.

Anna rolled her eyes and held back a huff. Did he really just complement her rear? Well....it was a nice looking rear. To bad he wasn't some drop dead sexy leopard here to sweep her off her paws and melt away the ice that claimed her heart. But alas, as with any other male, he was not. He was a cheetah, and a determined one at that. He was within her side and seconds, and still trying. Pathetically, but he was trying.
With a slight huffish laugh, she rolled her eyes and him. "Dear boy, I believe I told you I'm not thirsty. If I'm not thirsty, why would I need to travel to a lake?" she chuckled a bit and picked up the pace. She knew she couldn't out run him, much to her dismay, but she was quickly losing her warm natured temper - which was rather hard for her to do. "Nice, perhaps. But I'm not interested in chats either. You see, I'm quite tired and just wish for a peaceful nap." she was trying to be quaint. Really.

Against the odds, Riitho grinned at the leopardess's response. She just wanted to take a nap? As in sleeping? Score!
The risque thoughts that crossed his mind must have been apparent in his eyes as he trailed after the female. "You wanna sleep, huh? Well ah... I can help out with that." He let out an overexcited chuckle as he winked at her, completely oblivious that he might be overstepping the boundaries by now. It was fool proof! She wanted to sleep, so he'd offer to sleep with her! It's almost as if this is what she wanted in the first place. Awesome.
"I knew you couldn't resist me." He muttered to himself cockily, swaying happily as he headed towards a particularly private-looking patch of foliage. "C'mon then, sweets! No time to waste!"

That was where Anna drew the line. This Riitho just crossed the border and she was certainly NOT going to take it anymore. Her sweet and calm demeanor had all but vanished. Her smile slowly slid from her lips into a frown as her tail lashed side to side. She was going to just walk off completely, but when she let her temper flare, it really did get the best of her.
Taking a deep breath, she put on an act, just to be a b***h. She smiled again and fluttered her eyes ever so seductively as she followed after him. "How silly of me, your quite right. I really couldn't resist someone so...fetching." she said, her sassy lustful tone hiding every single hint of her anger. As she drew closer to him, she batted her eyes. "I believe... you can help me." she said as she swayed her hips and delicately raised a paw as if she were to lick it.
And then she struck. Claws out and all in one lightning fast motion, she swiped her paw across his face. Her smile and taunting ways all but vanished. "You vile filthy little ingrate! How dare you speak to me in such a manner. I wouldn't sleep with you if you were the last creature on earth." she hissed and stomped her paw back into the dirt. "It's mammals like you that make me loath company." she sneered with a nasty look equally as nasty as her voice. And with that she turned tail and sodded of into the thick surrounding foliage.

Riitho's heart beat faster with each of the leopardess's words. He completely lost his breath as she seemed to cave into their desires. I knew it. The immature cheetah thought with that dumbass smile on his face. A couple million brain cells drop dead. A bit of saliva escapes the corner of his mouth. He forgets to blink and his eyes start to sting, but he doesn't notice... 'cause damn, he's getting lucky tonight. Time to wave goodbye to your virginity, son!
Riitho couldn't have responded to the strike even if he was prepared for it! The vivid blue paw swiped across his face in a blur, leaving a trail of cuts which allowed his blood to pour through... A crimson color so pure it made his reddish mane look like poop in comparison. After recovering from a moment of shock, Riitho's blue eyes returned to where the leopardess had been just a moment ago. All emotion in his face was replaced with utter bewilderment. Not even the pain of his injury would register through the thick confusion in his mind.
One by one, Riitho uncovered some thoughts about the situation. Okay... so there's no 'getting lucky' tonight. And uh... maybe she really does hate his guts? At the rediculous thought, Riitho's lips twitched into what was going to be a smirk... but the gashes in his cheek didn't agree as they sent a signal of PAIN that pierced the remaining thoughts of confusion.
Riitho cringed and whimpered, taking note to the blood dripping to the earth beneath him. Tonight would be a painfully lonely one after all...
