Well, I suppose this year wasn't that bad, a Wii (anyone know anything about homebrew software for it? D: ), billions of Pokemon cards, Swedish Berries (Cherry Blasters would be better, but meh, it's all good), and best and most important, my PC back in the privacy of my room.
What sorts of things did you guys get (if you celebrate) and what are your plans for today? I know I'mma spend my day with family and whatnot and research homebrew software for my Wii for all the SNES emulatin' I can handle that isn't on my PC. D:

There was a PS3 (Not just for me :/) Philips Go-Gear Muse, and tickets to see Russell Howard live, and eventually got Mario & Luigi 3.
Seeing Russsell Howard should be godly.

Merry not-Christmas anymore, guys!
I got Super Scribblenauts, and my sister got Kirby's Epic Yarn and such. I also got these ridiculous new headphones. I could bake a pizza in each earphone. I can hear Spanish-language radio in them when nothing is playing.
I spent Christmas day being baaaad by eating bacon, cooking fried potato/cilantro/turmeric patties and then going to a Christmas party with a bunch of old skool nerds.
I will probably see a movie today. Joy!

Happy Holidays from the Cayman Islands!
When I got home from college, there was eight days worth of Hannukah gifts waiting for me (that is, six gifts). I got some new clothes, an electric blanket, Problem Sleuth 1 and 2, and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. The latter of which I've been addicted to, and played on the plane ride. I spent Christmas day on a plane.
My brother knows about homebrew stuff on the Wii. I'll ask him about it over lunch.

Happy Boxing Day everyone! If you don't know what that is, basically, us Canadians are a very lazy lot and like piling on the holidays so we don't have to work. -__- Right now, there are like two stores in my town open and I had to rip through my town just to get meself a Slurpee. D:
And I would totally trade my Wii for a PS3, my PSN account is crammed and I'm sure it'd be nice playing my games on the big screen opposed to the almost full, expensive to buy memory cards of my PSP. D: But I'm sure if I learn how to hack my Wii, my opinion should hopefully change..
Gimme headphones. D< my pair is probably from the original iPods as I managed to break/sleep on my new iPod Touch pair last year and had to borrow a pair from my sister. D: And it's okay, I drank like a liter of egg nog and had like eighteen perogies, oh laud.
Fgsfds, I want to be in the Caribbean right now! Right now in jolly ol' Quebec, there is a blizzard warning as usual. D: Then again, Christmas just isn't Christmas without it being white.. I really want the new Golden Sun game, I am praying (haven't checked yet) that Sakuraba still does the music to it.

Happy Canadian holiday to you too! There's a blizzard going on in NY too I hear, but I'm not there to witness it. It's a little weird for me to be on a sunny beach in the middle of December, but I don't celebrate Christmas, so it'll pass. Once my fire coral stings go away. gonk
Sakuraba did the music for Dark Dawn, don't worry. If he didn't, I would be angry, since his music really helped the game define its atmosphere. The music is good so far. There is some of what I call "generic Sakuraba" in there, but there are a good number of memorable tunes. So far, the game is pretty good, though it does meander somewhat. I'd still recommend it, especially if you've played the first two. They really have fun with nostalgia at the beginning, probably since so much has changed after The Lost Age.

Lucky, the most I ever get to the water is skating on the frozen river every now and then. And it's great that my worst fear isn't a reality, although Valkyrie Profile was IMO, his masterpiece in the games he did. Although I am not the biggest Golden Sun fan (Shining Force was always my favourite Camlot game) it will always have room for my GBA as there is an apparent lack of good NA GBA games. : (
