so I'm done crying over this morning's loot. srsly. my rents are too much sometimes.
- mama got me a crikut cutter for my cakes! I don't have to fight with fondant anymore. (crikut cutters are normally for scrapbook cutting- but this is like a super powered pasta roller that cuts the fondant into shapes!) >w<
- dad got me a few small things... (headphones, criminal minds season one) then set me up the BOMB with a turtle necklace that will be my gift for the next five years. I've never owned anything with diamonds before.
- brother got me the alice doll I've been wanting.
- sister and baby daddeh got me enough cards to best buy for more criminal minds.
- other sister got me a huge kokeshi doll.
so tells meh. what swag was in those holiday bags? <3

omg. That necklace sounds adorable and it totally suits you because it is awesome and you are awesome. <3
I was blessed with gifts on all sides: tons of stuff from coworkers, immediate family, cousins, aunts, my partner's mother, etc.
My favourite gifts were from my partner, though: a 14kt gold crucifix (Jesus was done in white gold; the cross in yellow gold), a Captain Britain trade paperback, and an angel necklace. The angel's body is white gold, the wings are rose gold (aka pink gold or red gold) with diamond chips in them. Once I opened these, I felt so cheap because all I bought him was a ticket to Emerald City ComiCon and the wolf from Build-a-Bear he's wanted for months. (Said wolf also got a Jedi costume, lol.) I think I actually cried, too. They were that beautiful.

- A bracelet with the Canadian maple leaf on it and black gems cuz my family will be sad when I move to Canada haha.

I'm glad to hear that your grandfather is doing better smile heart
Let's see, I got A LOT of new cooking gagets ((Toboe and I will be trying them all out XD)) including new pots and pans from everyone and a spice rack that has all the jars filled already. I got NO ANIME whatsoever, but got volumes 7 and 8 of Family guy and Cake Boss season 2.
Ever since Adam and I made a Chocolate Mocha cake log for Thanksgiving, we've been trying new cake recipies, and I've been watching Cake Boss on youtube. I LOVE the show! biggrin

I was more proud of what I gave. I got my mom and my grandma both this snow scraper with a mitten on it. Twas glorious >8D
oh, also, mom's got me working at a nightclub, I worked christmas day from 11PM to 3AM. I work again tonight. It'll be hella busy.

Lessee... the biggest and best thing I got was a handmade silk dressing robe/smoking jacket that my mom made me. Thing's in black and gold silk, and it makes me look like Hugh Hefner when I wear it. s**t is awesome.
I also got a copy of Volume 1 of Questionable Content from my little brother, SIGNED BY JEPH JAQUES HIMSELF!!! Seriously cool. I got some cash from the rest of my folks too, which is awesome.
My favorite gift though, was from my girlfriend. Six months before we started dating, we fell asleep on a couch together cuddling. Unbeknownst to me her best friend snapped a picture of it, and Maureen kept it secret and then printed it out and sent it to me in a frame. So cute. Also, she made me cookies. Woo!

My Christmas present was...getting 4 wisdom teeth yanked out. crying ;; But luckily the date got changed from Christmas Eve to the 28th, so...I guess I had Christmas Eve to celebrate? sweatdrop
Haha but no, I got a bunch of (good) stuff too. My roommate got me Stephen King's latest book, Full Dark No Stars! <3 I got myself a couple of things, too. Mostly makeup and clothing related. My mom got me 2 pairs of boots and they are SEXAY. *Q*
Oh and my family and I went skiing/snowboarding. I love snowboarding but it makes my legs so tireeed. xD;
