yea u should hold a contest that person, who posts most, thats not staff, gets 1mill, hold it every 3 month or so and if u spamm u wont win it or something like that, something big!

Yeah...it's all so complicated!! Or maybe...we can start a lottery, and to be legible to be in the lottery, you need to participate in ___ contests, post ___ times, and pay...like 1000 gold!!

These are some good ideas, but I think we are going to hold a lotto, just haven't recruited enough people yet.

I don't mean to knock down on your ideas but..
Generally when you have a post count eligibility in contests people will:
a) skip numbers when the forum is really busy.
b) say one worded things that would seem to be part of a conversation
c) quit after so many posts because it seems pointless by then
What else is really horrible about post counts is who will go in and search the forums for the posts. Because things like these do need to be double checked BECAUSE people are very greedy.
When you hold a prize, these factors only escalate. And generally the forum will move TOO fast.
With the lottery idea you again must count the posts, where people cheat.
And making them participate in other contests when there are yet not that many will scare them off.
And this is a no profit charity.. 1000 gold generally puts off a lot of people.

I do believe Bella's hinted at the idea of a lottery so I'm pretty sure we'll move forward with that... But I'm not too sure what pre-requisites we'll have for joining or anything like that. It's really nice when people post but I don't like the idea of people feeling OBLIGATED to post to win stuff. (Although honestly, with the current Holiday Event with our drunk mule - posting more definitely gives you a better chance at being "noticed.")
Just please you should NEVER feel like you post "too much."
You can NEVER post enough - and there is no limit in the Chatterbox. Create as many threads as you want - post, double post as much as you want. We don't mind. This sub-forum is to act AS a chatterbox. (We're even more lenient on the amount of cursing in here.)
