Another pang of guilt shuddered through Sakn as Xiu responded, eyes doe-like and wide. It hurt to be untruthful to Xiu, to lie to him and make him believe it. But it would hurt less this way, and wasn't that why this was all happening? Because he didn't want anyone to get hurt anymore? Sakn repeated this to himself as he looked into Xiu's. His hands came to rest on the boys cheeks, cupping his face in calloused hands.
His eyes meant to follow Xiu's, but he couldn't keep them from dropping down, trailing to boys face, along his cheek and down his nose to his lips. The redhead could still taste Xiu on his lips; a strange taste, a tinge of tea and something sweet; a warm taste like sandlewood and summer rain. It was complicated, a series of flavors that melded into one thing that was strictly Xiu. And all Sakngea could think of was kissing the boy until the moon dropped down into the earth. It was a strangling feeling in his stomach, a twisting that was far more intense then the intimate night they had shared before he left. How strange one little thing can do to change the way one perceives their feelings.
Sakn's hair stood on end when the boy's hands slipped through his hair; coming to a rest at the nape of his neck. The feel of those small, narrow fingers slipping through his hair, the way they skimmed across his scalp; cool and soft, it threw him for a loop. His nerves were haywire and then Xiu was talking and he had to concentrate on that, not those fingers or the way he didn't want to talk.
"does this mean we're...friends?"
There was some meaning in that, one that Sakn registered some where in his brain. But that wasn't the part that responded. The part that responded was the suddenly hungry and wild-eyed Sakngea, the one that flashed Xiu a smile and responded, "Yea, guess it does, don' it?" there was laughter in his voice, though slightly strained. There was silence for a moment after he said that then, and Sakn's eyes darted to Xiu's.
"Xiu," that word was like his magic charm, and after he whispered it, he let his hands fall to the other boys shoulders as he kissed him again, fierce and excited, just like he felt. Sakn felt like he was on fire, and when ever he kissed Xiu, he could feel the spark on his lips, reminding him of how alive they both were right now.
And how no one would ever take that from them, not if Sakngea could help it.

Xiu body was still. Sakn was so close now and Xiu could see nameless emotions slipping across his face. Lips suddenly dry from that first kiss, Xiu licked them, wanting Sakn to kiss him again. How long had it been since that night? He wanted more kissed from Sakn, to hold him close and never let go.
Sakn was agreeing with him. Xiu’s heart jumped into his throat and he couldn’t help the brilliant smile that lit up his face. “Sakn that’s just perfect.” He all but sighed, unable to let that smile slip, even as Sakn was looking…not so much like Sakn. Xiu was through with trying to pick apart his friend now. It was too late. He was tired and just wanted to stay with Sakn. He’d figure out things in the morning when he wasn’t so wrought with emotion. Bai would help. The tiger was always good at such things. For now though, he just wanted Sakn.
When the kiss came, Xiu was sighing into the redhead’s mouth, allowing the passionate kiss as his arms tightened around Sakn’s neck. He couldn’t help the moan the whispered from him or how his tongue darted out curiously. Xiu let Sakn kiss him all he wanted, not wanting to try and dominate. Only to simply feel.
Xiu pulled back slightly when the kiss was over, vaguely realizing that he was plastered to Sakn again and not minding one bit. “I’m glad I found you again Sakn. I like kissing you.” He kissed Sakn again lightly, smile playful now. “You kiss so well, you know.”

Kissing Xiu was like being struck by lightening. It was an amazing experience, one Sakn decided to relish in for as long as he could. So when Xiu spoke, his eyes flashed with impatience, but his ego swelled when the boy complimented him. The redhead laughed a sharp, warm laugh and laid a kiss against Xiu's jaw, kissing from just below his fin to his chin. Then Sakn kissed the boy on the lips again and smiled against him. "Y'don' say," he all but drawled when he spoke, his pupils dilated as the intense surge of emotions rushed through his system, doubled by his recent 'training'.
There was a hum in the back of his mind as he continued to press kisses against any place his lips could find. A hum that reminded him not to forget what his goal was, not to get to involved when there were still things to be done. And while he recognized the threat, he brushed it off as his hands trailed into Xiu's hair; just like he brushed of golden feline eyes staring into his soul. All he focused on was Xiu and the way he felt, the way he sounded, breathed, acted. Everything was focused on Xiu.
The moon burned down on the ground, spilling into the temple as Sakn slipped his fingers into Xiu's. They were standing now, outside the confession chambers, both tired and, sadly, departing ways soon. Sakn wished, so hard, that he could stay. But Hyun Chun was furious. She had not expected to be left outdoors for so long, and her anger felt like pin pricks on the back of his neck. Once he left the temple and retrieved her, the pain would be almost unbearable, he was sure.
But as the redhead looked down at Xiu, he couldn't help but think that he didn't mind. This would their night, he would suffer for it, but so be it. "Are y'going to be okay?" already the lilt was back in his voice, his real self closing back up now that he was soon leaving. "I mean, y'know," he scratched his cheek and continued, "emotionally," he finished lamely, because while his exhaustion had lowered his guard, it was still awkward to talk about.

Xiu saw the impatient, almost needy, look on Sakn’s face and had to stifle a laugh. This was definitely something knew and exciting. He’d never seen this side of Sakn before. Sure, they had kissed, but nothing so heated. This feeling made him want to shudder and whimper as he titled his head to allow those kisses along his jaw.
He was sad when the hour neared closer to dawn. He didn’t want Sakn to leave. He wanted the night to just go on and on forever. Of course, he knew this wasn’t true and he sighed. Xiu pressed close to Sakn, hugging his friend tightly before looking up with a more than forced smile on his face.
“I’ll be fine.” He assured. “Tonight was…more than anything I could have imagined. I’m really happy Sakn.” This was true. Now he felt closer to Sakn than ever before and was sure nothing and now one could take the redhead away from him. Leaning back, smile still a bit tight, Xiu rose on tip toe so he could kiss Sakn for the last time that night.
“You’ll be okay? Won’t?” He asked, voice hushed and not wanting to think what Sakn was going to do AFTER he left the temple.

The redhead's face lightened a bit as Xiu reassured him. It was good to know that his friend was happy, and when Xiu rose to kiss him lightly on the lips, he wrapped his arms around the boy and lifted him off the ground, holding him up as he returned the affection, keeping it gentle and slow. A kiss could say a million things, but all Sakn's said was that he was happy too.
When Xiu's feet touched the ground, and he asked Sakn if he would be alright, the redhead gave a nod, even though he knew his night would probably not go well. The needle pricks were burning now, itching against his skin, and Hyun would most likely want to release her anger before they went to bed. The fisherboy felt his body groan, realizing that it still had much physical labor left to do. "Don't worry about me," he said in his clear, not-Sakngea tone, "I'm just going to go home and sleep," a blatant lie, covered up with a saccharine smile and another peck on the lips. He let his hands drop then to hold Xiu's, feeling the softness of those fingers and how they contracted with the rough callouses of his own hands.
"Stay inside at night, alright?" he said absent-mindedly as his thumbs brushed over Xiu's knuckles. "And if you must go outside at night, have someone with you, like Bai Hu," he was paranoid, it was obvious. To loose Xiu, especially now, would be too much for the young man to handle. "I will see you again soon."
Perhaps, if Hyun would allow him to come back here. He feared that the ex-Legionnaire would deny him any visits to Xiu, after this escapade.
