I brought a picnic lunch to school for us. ^_^ Sandwiches, cut veggies and fruits, and freshly baked cookies. It made him really happy. I haven't gotten the chance to make him dinner yet, but if I do I plan on making somen noodle salad and chicken katsu with mochi and ice cream for dessert, as those are my best (and favorite) recipes.
But honestly, as long as you make him something homemade, he'll love it as long as you aren't a completely horrendous cook; I'm not gonna lie about that. Just make him something within your abilities, and make it with love. <3

If you can cook, try cooking him something he really likes!
My guy likes Japanese food ,especially Katsudon, so I made that for him, and he loved it. xd

I have yet to deem a guy worthy of my culinary skillz (As I have yet to find a guy worthy of dating for more than a couple weeks). cool Although once in a while I get a sneaky one who comes over for a "visit" around dinner time.

I havent cooked a guy dinner yet, but if I ever had to, I would ask his siblings/parents what his favourite drink+dessert and dinner was and would cook it for him!
