My favorite back in Indiana was Sugar Cream pie. heart heart I can't get that anywhere in NC, it seems...but I'm enjoying a Southern pie...Sweet Potato! whee Much better than Pumpkin pie!

Pie is such an American thing, we barely seem to touch the surface in the UK, i loved pumpkin pie, the smell, the texture, just heavenly, and i haven't had any for 20 years gonk

Pie tends to be more a savoury thing here, I think (except for boring old apple, and lemon meringue, which I never think really qualifies as a pie). The American sweet versions sound great. 3nodding
