...but then I read their blogs and now I want to kill myself. crying I love all their ideas they make very good points. I would turn gay for the Guerrilla Girls. But there is one massive fail I am seeing here. And it's abortion.
They pride themselves in their views on equality. Both genders are equal. They demand better jobs, better pay, better treatment of women (and all these demands are still being blatantly ignored). I love that. They also encourage male feminists. Any man can be a feminist. And they are against sexism in the name of religion. And they allow abortions when a woman really needs them. The are all about freedom for everyone. Freedom of choice, freedom of opinion. Freedom of living pretty much.
And I like all this. And I am a Christian Pro-Lifer. But everyone knows that female Christian pro-lifers are EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! Because they are hypocrates! They are not people and they are dumb! They don't deserve jobs! They need to be fired because they lub Jebuz and want to have a baby! EEEEEWWWWW!!! They can't have an opinion becuz they like Jebuz and babez!!!
And we are apparently the 'hypocritical' ones?
Every blog used the term 'anti-choice' which is absolutly disgusting. What if someone DECIDES to have a baby? Tell me, pro-retards. Decide. What does that mean? A) Going to the toilet or B) Eating some cheese or C) CHOICE, THE VERY ******** THING YOU NAMED YOUR GROUP!!!
They are doing this cause to protect the rape victims and people who will literally die if they don't get an abortion. How nice that they protect 1% of people who get abortions! Newsflash: People don't use abortions for that. Apparently it's just another contraceptive, even though it is a medical procedure that is more dangerous, expensive and genarally a lot more pissing around than just throwing a rubber thing on it months ago. Because every pro-choice feminist knows that condoms are EEEWWWW. A feminist can't use condoms! They're toooooooooo haaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrd to use! You have to get an abortion, the same procidure that in some cases has destroyed a womans ability to have a baby when they want to and in some cases the same procidure that women have lost entire uteruses to! So clearly it is better and much safer than a condom that prevents it all from starting in the first place, right feminists?
On all these 'feminist' blogs I've looked through there was not ONE SINGLE EVIDANCE of the acknowledgment that YES, PRO-LIFE FEMINISTS EXIST! OMFG!!! There was not ONE thing, not ONE peice of information for pro-lifers. IT WAS ALL PRO-CHOICE!!!
Because you know were feminists and all men are equal, all women are equal, everyone should have equal opportunities and all races and religions are equal, but not christians and pro-lifers. They are too hypocritical and EEEWWWWW! Oh and by the way, we're not hypocrates.
So to 'feminist' pro-choicers: You clearly do not care about us at all, you just want to baawwwww about everything.
In conclusion: All I found on 'feminism' made me vomit. It made me sick and I litterally want to kill myself over this painful bullshit. I really want to be a feminist like the Guerrilla Girls, but these feminists are more close minded and judgemental than the white male religious fundimentalists they baawwww so much about. What should I do? crying crying Can I still be a feminist? Or will I have to be something else?

What is a Guerrilla Girl?
Anyways, being a girl myself, I'm all for equal opportunity and pay but taking the away the one thing that makes us unique and a women in order to reach it does not sound equal to me. If anything, we should be allow to be treated fairly and able to keep jobs while pregnant and get the support we need.
I can't speak for Christians as I'm not one. But I can say that I hate being called anti-choice. I'm not going around calling them pro-death, pro-abortion, or anti-life, they shouldn't go around calling me anti-choice. They say not to judge but they have to not judge as well then. You can't have it both ways.
Most abortions aren't done because or life or death or even rape (which I won't go there as I have different views on abortions for that). From what I seen and read, most are done because they want to have sex but not deal with anything that can happen or want babies.
Want sex but no babies? Get your tubes tied or something. Protection isn't going to be 100%.

In many feminist blogs I see a common complex- It's a narcissistic deal where the person feels inferior, but is unwilling to blame themselves or understand that they are not inferior. They feel awkward in social situations, and instead of saying "I shouldn't feel weird, I'm a wonderful person" or improving their self esteem, they turn to excuses for why THEY feel awkward. Often it's that OTHERS make them feel awkward, and the first reason they can imagine is their gender or race, as it is the most topical and obvious.
This branches, from their focus on their self image, to dislike and distrust of anyone who is not a woman, and causes them to lash out at anything related to women in almost any context, particularly sexuality.

You have to be careful with some feminist blogs, or you'll start believing Joss Whedon wants to crucify all women for having Mal dress in drag. Dead serious. Funniest and most outrageous thing ever.
I share your frustration, I really, deeply do. It ticks me off because what gets buried in the pro-choice/pro-life debate is that this system is flawed. When it comes to the point where women feel that they have to kill their children to succeed in a career, to go to school, to pay the bills, we have failed. No man is asked to bare a similar burden.
But there are pro-life feminists. You're one of them. Just because you don't believe abortion is an acceptable answer to the problems that face women doesn't make you less of a feminist. Work for other solutions. Like it or not, abortion is around because people think women NEED it. It is a very sad sign that we're told that we need abortion, and that so many people believe that. It's a sad thing that it disguises the need to get to the bottom of things, and fix things from the ground up so that we aren't told that we need it.

One 'feminist' blog had one post complaining about employers firing women for being pregnant. In that very same blog there were PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES of pro-choice bawwww posts, all completely contracting this other post. Are pro-choicers hypocritical? Nooooo!! I don't see how they could possibly be hypocritical!

Like you said, feminisim is all about having a choice. Well, you choose to be a Christain pro-lifer. You have all the reasoning you need to win (or at least stop) any argument you encounter on the issue. The thing is, people on both sides are stubbern. You can show them all the facts in the world, and they won't move. Nothing stopping you from being a feminist, so why shouldn't you? (unless something is, than I'm sorry). Just don't worry about it, and other people won't either. mrgreen
