Siha currently didn't have anything to do, and so she was staring at the ground intently. A crudely drawn map of some of the shrines were doodled into the dirt, and her golden eyes were studying different routes she may be able to take in case one was blocked, a visitor wanted to see more than one shrine, whatever might happen should the need arise. She was getting better at remembering what was where, but still the young lioness wasn't sure she was going to be able to remember everything.

A small claw drew a possible new route between two shrines. Siha looked carefully...and with agitation she blurred out the whole map until it was just an uneven level of dirt again. Blast! Perhaps she should talk to Salma about this. She didn't want to give up, but there wasn't much confidence in what she was doing, either....

He should really know his way around properly by now, but for some reason or another it was just refusing to stick in his mind. Perhaps it was his subconcious insisting that he not stay in one place, but he was going to be staying here. Here was where Sethunya and their pups were. And Makena too of course. Poor Makena, he hadn't been too happy to see the gray stripes on the pups. But what was done was done, and all that mattered was that they were Sethunya's pups and she was happy with them. He could not swear that he would have been as thrilled as he had been if the pups had been splotched with blue, but he thought he'd have taken it well. After all, Sethunya was what mattered most.

But, at the moment, she was with Makena and the pups, hopefully soothing the other dog's hurt feelings with that sweet adorableness. And he had been on a hunting expedition. One of the shrinekeepers had been busily fixing something and had not eaten yet. So he was going to bring her a catch, except now he could not recall which direction he'd been told the shrine was in. He had food for her, a hare dangled limply from his jaws, but...which shrine was he supposed to go to? The last two had been wrong, though the keepers were quite nice about it... perhaps she knew?

His gray ears pricked forward with interest, the hunter padded towards where the blue lioness was drawing something in the dirt. "Excuse me," he called politely, dropping the hare so as to be able to properly speak. "I'm having a bit of trouble, could you possibly direct me to one of the shrines?" Or was she just as confused as he was?

"Wha?"

Siha's eyes shot upward, as she hadn't noticed that someone was nearby. How embarrassing. She smiled as his attention turned to her, letting her tail brush away what was left of the messy map she had been drawing. She should be memorizing these things anyway, and not depending on an image to save her fur.

"Oh, um, I should be able to help you, yes." Good going, Siha, you sound completely confident. "Which shrine is it that you are looking for?" She eyed the hare curiously, but there could only be a couple reasons as to why he was carrying a hare. Plus...well, he looked a little familiar, so perhaps he was bringing a gift to someone.

Tendaji tried a smile, as that usually seemed to work for Sethuya when she was trying to make someone less nervous. But then, she was already amazing enough that no one could be nervous around her. She was too sweet...

"Thank you. I need to find the shrine of stars, please. I agreed to hunt for the keeper, but I've...forgotten where it is," the wild dog confessed. He had not been any good at all with learning his way about the pride. He could always find a shrine when he needed someone to look to. But any specifics? He was not going to remember, unfortunately.

Ohboy. Stars...stars...she had to know where that is. "Oh! Ok," she answered brightly, but her insides were all in a twist with anxiety. She knew she could do this...or at least she kept telling herself that.

She glanced around her and the wild dog, trying to gain some sort of spot that she would recognize. Hmm...that tree had a distinct mark on it, some sort of weird branch mutation. That meant that the star shrine should be....that way.

"Alright, I'd be happy to guide you there," she said with a bit more confidence. "This way," she answered, keeping her pace slow for him, and for herself. She knew she could get there...or did she?

Take him there? Had he tripped over a guide? Tendaji blinked, then snorted slightly, the closest he came to exhibiting amusement outside of his small but growing family. Luck seemed to stalk him in odd ways. "I would appreciate that. Thank you miss...?" the dog paused in his stooping to collect the small prey he'd been delivering. "My apologies, I forgot to properly introduce myself. I'm Tendaji, one of the hunters. May I ask for your name?"

How could he forget. It was rude. He was better than that. Even if he could not remember his way around the pride for whatever reason. He'd figure it out though. Eventually. In the mean time, he'd just need to hope his luck kept him stumbling over those who did know where everything was.

Oops! She stopped suddenly, even though she hadn't really gotten much of anywhere yet. She needed to remember that she didn't know everyone in the pride, and as such there was no way that everyone would be able to know her. Stupid Siha.

"I'm Siha," she answered with a nod. "I'm sorry for just assuming so much. I am a guide here, though I feel more like a junior guide at times than a fully fledged one.." Oh, there was no need to push her worries onto him. She smiled, letting herself warm up a little bit. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Tendaji. Again, I'm sorry. Is there anything else you would need, beyond being shown where the Stars Shrine is?"
