Rendus
Bard and Storyteller

Rendus smiled. "Why don't you try me, panther?" He asked and then made one great wave of his quill again. At once, scribbles began to move along the pages once again. The details of the scribbles this time told of a man walking to a not-so-familiar forest and that he met a talking panther as he was hunting. It was extremely similar from the sketch he made earlier for the animal but this time the way the story told was extremely detailed and life-like. Making another artful wave of his hands, drawings began to appear, too. The page features an extremely well-pictured forest with a panther so vividly drawn that it looked like real life.

"The road to the Heart must be found, panther." Rendus said and then looked deeply at the eyes of the animal. "If you have any theories regarding the hiding place of the Heart, then, we should at least try it. I need to know if the legend is true."

The panther didn't seem to be paying attention to him. Her large golden-green eyes were fixated upon the paper of the pages. As he moved his feathered quill, scribbles began to move, waving in their form. She watched with a very feline curiosity, shuffling closer to the edge of the cover to peek over better, despite the fact that he was so close to it. Her breath could have been felt upon his hand, ruffling the edges of the quill as she exhaled.

Another wave of his quill, and drawings manifested upon the page. With curiosity burning even hotter in her eyes, she watched each line form the panther, and the forest. She blinked, her pupils growing wider in her eyes' depths as she blinked once with alarm. It was beautiful. She looked up, her pupils slitting once more as she met sight of his face.

"I must ask. Why is it that you so stubbornly seek it? I will not lead the forest to its ruination for the request of a mere man. I do not trust you want it just to know it exists. For once you know it is true; for once you know where it lies.. Who can say what you will do next?"

Rendus
Bard and Storyteller

Almost instantly, Rendus felt the succession of his insistence of the panther to tell him the remnants of the heart was. However, the animal was indeed wise; she guarded the sacred item with constant vigilance. If she really was a guardian of the item, then, the panther was indeed liable for anyone that seeks the heart. He thought deeply about her question and thought of something to perhaps convince her completely. Were his stories not enough to satisfy her curiosities? What did she really want to know? Rendus had some things hidden of course, but it was none of her business. At least, to a certain extent.

"I am a storyteller! Is it a reason not enough to satisfy thy curiosity?" Rendus began, closing the tome and then hiding it in his bag, which he kept hanging over his shoulder. "Don't you see the relevance of my mission? I live to tell people tales they have never heard before! I came to tell stories of life, adventure and mysticism; but unlike to common stories, I swore only to tell the truth." He continued on as he paced back and forth before the panther. "I want to tell people extremely true stories that they would never, ever forget. I plan on making the most memorable adventure book known to the world!"

With that, the storyteller jumped into a nearby broken log and then picked a twig. He waved it in front of him as if fighting a monster and made some evasive movements as if escaping brutal attacks of the foe. "Heroes fighting the most vicious of monsters!" He said and then sat at the log. He gave one faint sigh and then began a short but impressive song that seemed too angelic and girlish for a man. "Stories of singing mermaids and sirens!" And then stood up and flapped his arms imitating a flying creature and then ran round and round the log. "Or tell stories of majestic, flying creatures that no one ever saw!" And then, he jumped at the log once again and then faced the panther, waiting for her response.
