I know your not supposed to buy a monthly collectible when it first comes out, but do you guys think it will go down anymore or just go up from here?

The price is going to steadily decrease between now and the end of the month, as the supply is still available. Toward the very end of the month, when it's about to be removed from the Cash Shop, it will go up by a little as people attempt one last ditch effort to stock up. How it performs beyond this greatly depends on how hoarded the item is, and how the demand goes. As it's an MC it will certainly go up over time, but, like the nightmare sash and silver laurels, it could be very slow.
