Merry Christmas everyone.
I haven't been on for quite some time now, and I'm sorry about that, but it's Christmas and I wanted to do something special for our guild. I was thinking a gift exchange, secret Santa, or a white elephant (if I can figure out how to do it digitally)... Well, if you guys are interested in anything,post your thoughts, opinions, and ideas here and well try to make everyone's Christmas wishes come true.

White Elephant:
Just in case you've never heard of a white elephant, it's a type of gift exchange. People wrap things they don't need anymore and that's what's going to be their present. The fun part is the exchange. Everyone participating will have to go in some type of order. ( I was thinking maybe start a forum and make it the order people posted.) Whatever order we go through, there will be a top and bottom list. the top will pick last and the bottom picks first. The picker will choose who he wants to exchange with, and they trade gifts. Then the next person on the list picks anyone he wants to trade gifts with including people who already swapped. that means the bottom people can have their gifts swapped for something else. everyone will have to swap gifts. the person on the very top will get to pick last without the risk of anyone taking the gift from him/her.

person 1 goes first. he exchanges with person 2. person 3 goes next. he wants person two's gift, so he exchanges with person 1 who has person 2's gift. person 4 goes next. Person 2's gift is popular, so she takes it from person 3. person two is last. he gets to pick anyone's gift without the risk of losing it. He exchanges with person 3.
in the end, person 1 has person 3 gift
person 2 has person 4 gift
person 3 has person 1 gift
and person4 has person 2 gift.
(spoiler: person 2's gift sucks!)

I hope that helps you understand the concept. We did this in english last year and my friends did it again this year cuz they have awesome teachers, and i dont. I was just thinking it would be a fun thing to do with the guild.

EDIT: White elephant sounds cool, but it is hard to do it in Gaia since presents sent to some is soulbound.

Anyway, gift exchange sounds nice, but I'm out of Gaia gold, so I need to go earn some XD

Anyway, for Christmas, let's have a Christmas RP party, filled with games.
We will have lucky draw and stuff. I can host it, just need sponsors for the presents (because I'm broke ): I only have 5k left)

Secret Santa sound cool, but how would we do pick our Secret Santa? Sending gifts is no problem, but picking is.

I can sponsor too if you need more. An RP party sounds fun (though I've never been to one before...) Tell me how much you're gonna need because I might not be able to go on. Might go traveling during Christmas break.

Edit: Here's the Christmas Event thread I've created: たのしいChristmas

So far I have 2 games planned out with 1 lucky draw.
Each game should have 3 prizes and lucky draw will have 5 prizes.
I'll try not to burn any gold so I want to know how much you can spare. PM the amount. XD
