Everything went black, a dramatic moment as actions were completely unseen within darkness but just like in the movies. Within a second, vision would return and the two warriors would be several feet away from each other. Most likely with blades or weapons draw backs turned to the foe. But this situation was different, Sui-long had claws out and Cade appeared to have no weapon at all. But appearances were deceiving.
The desert sands were covered in blood, and this was a good sign. Imperfects didn't bleed.
Light bent around Cade and a sword became visible, the 6 foot long blade 3 feet deep into the sands and blood running down its glass like blade. Cade controlled light, which allowed him to produce illusions or clones or make objects invisible like this massive blade. Though not a master swordsman, Cade was incredibly fast, and wielding a sword as large as his own body that was hidden completely from sight allowed him to block the claw strikes as well as strike back. This was not to say Cade was completely unharmed, his clothes were torn up, and it appeared he has gashes across his body. But considering the amount of blood on the sands he got out lucky.
The amount of blood of the sands was enough to send even a immortal or demi god into a sleep. Due to the blood loose knocking them out cold unlike the body recovered. But the injuries were not enough for death, Cade never struck to kill unless it was need be.
Cade looked over at his sword which disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. He turned around and glanced over at the Dai warrior's final form. "My girl is going to kill me if i show up to dinner like this" he said with a sigh, dropping his head in distress.
Cade was a cocky fighter, this much was true. But the Imperfect had a fine right to be. Being a light manipulator he was capable of many things, distorting the word and people perception at will one could never know what was real and what was not. In fact this whole fight could have never happened, what if it was all just a big illusion? The mind wouldn't know the different even if it was. Like hypnosis, an illusion was nearly impossible to break or notice unless details from the real words were absent or abstract. What makes something real after all?
Cade was a body constructed for a mind, not a mind constructed for a body. This was his different, that separated him from nearly every other being. It was his advantage.

My over all Decision goes to Cade. And the following call is total an honest opinion.
Cade: Creativity- 7/10 Cade's use of abilities and attacks was impressive and praise should be commended. While he didn't do much out of the box type of moves, he executed them in a manner that was, in a manner, artistic. However, for lack of consistent originality, I'm only going to give him an 8. -Writing- 7/10 Cade, you've got spelling and small grammar mistakes. Length does you well, but when the words aren't right, well, it takes away from the overall score. Still, you score high for engaging the reader, and keeping a light tone throughout while not stepping out of the feel of a fight. -Playing in Character (Style)- 5/5 Cade's just got style. He plays his characters to a very down to earth manner, giving them a lot of flesh and depth without having to really draw out any deep meanings.
Creativity- 3/10 Zem's attacks and retorts were cliche at best. Dodges weren't very unique and honestly didn't seem to flow at times. -Writing- 4/10 The writing was nothing impressive either. The posts were relatively short and weren't all that descriptive. You didn't get any real sense of struggle or ease from the fights. There were errors of all kinds in many of them, and sometimes you had to reread the post several times before the meaning finally hit you. -Playing in Character (Style)- 3/5 Despite the shorter posts and lack of creativity, I have to give is to Zem as he followed the theme of a movie throughout the entire fight. Kudos. Still, his posts lacked a lot in really giving his character any real individuality.
So my scores are 19 for Cade and 10 for Zem.
In visual comparison the decision is just clear. Cade was clearer, more creative, and had more style.
I would also like to point out that a large majority of Zem's posts included God-Modding, auto-hitting, and overly drawn out scene that simply did not fit well with the continuum of the fight. There were several contrary points. One of the most immediately mentionable is when he said he didn't breath in but had spoken. And to speak, in most cases, one has to breath.
This is my judgment.
