So when I'm crying alone Yeah, when I'm cold as a dying stone
 Neysa
Neysa gave the newcomer a smile. She noticed the odd texture of a bat wing and her eyes widened. How interesting, she thought with a grin. When he asked who they were she glanced around at the others as they introduced each other in their own way. Though she listened to Harkel closely as he explained who he was and what his business. Her eyes fell to the ground as she thought over the choice. Did she really want to go out there once again? The only use she has for the group is her healing ability. Other than that she believed she was just about useless. the last thing she wanted to be was a burned on anyone's shoulders. The memory of Sefa and what pain he was in during their last trip out into the wastes. Neysa glanced up at him for a moment before they fell the ground once again. I can't back out. She glanced over at Shinobi to find his eyes on her.
"Ah...I guess it's my turn. hm?" she rubbed the back of her head and let out a soft sigh. She glanced over at the newcomer for a moment before looking over at Harkle "My name is Neysa...as for my choice. I'll continue on with you all." she said softly.
Neysa smiled at the man with the bat ears and motioned the shinobi. "Oh and that's Shin...or Shinobi. I don't know what his real name is..he doesn't talk a lot...actually I haven't heard a single word out of him. Everyone seems to call him Shinobi...but I personally thing Shin has a better ring to it." she grinned at Shin before returned her gaze to Harkel.
Grow me a garden of roses Paint me the colors of sky and rain Teach me to speak with their voices Show me the way and I'll try again

Harkel Aristocratic Scholar Harkel looked upon all of the people there, and then shifted his gaze upon Izual. "I'm supposing he's not going to do anything to help us. I suppose it's just as well... The people here might grow tired of a parasite eventually." Harkel adjusted his cloak and readied himself for the journey to come. The old man leaned on his cane and waited for the others to finally prepare themselves. "Well, that seems to be everyone who seems willing to actually lend aid. We'll be leaving as soon as all of you are fully prepared. Get whatever supplies you need. I don't need to tell you that this journey will be harsh beyond words." He leaned against his staff and waited, albeit impatiently.

] Iz𝖛𝖆l ℙℜℴsℙℇℜℴ Izual was rather amazed at the sight of the angel-man, and found himself gaping at the white haired Kiyoshi. He did not quite remember his manners as he did, and stared quite rudely. Was this guy a real angel, Izual hadn't even known they existed!
Breaking off that stare at the angel, he looked down toward the ground shyly. He didn't do so well around a large enough group of people, and he was starting to feel a little anxious. Neysa spoke to him, telling him the red-haired man's name, the one with the horns he'd been so fascinated by. He nodded, and repeated "Shin?" his voice still quiet and shy. Since everyone else was, he also gave his name."I am Izual" he said, softly.
Izual could feel the silver-haired man staring at him, and looked up nervously to meet his gaze. He heard the man's words, and his ears lowered sadly.

"Shinobi" XXX XXX XXX XXX静かな戦士"the Silent Warrior" Narinthe observed Neysa with a keen red eye. She almost seemed to be hesitant, her gaze down casted to the ground at her feet. After a few moments, she peered at Sefas, beside Shinobi, before they flickered away to the ground. When her eyes moved again, the met with his own. His eye, glowing dimly within his head, was void of any expression or emotion. A mere demonic glow was all that it gave off.
He further noted her discomfort with her sigh, rubbing the back of her blond head. He blinked unhappily as he noted it, before she introduced herself. She spoke softly, her voice further telling him of her displeasure, as she informed Harkel she would come along. He resisted the urge to step forward and pat her. Instead, he nodded to her.
She seemed to go back to the bat. Narinthe himself felt his doubts over the kid. He didn't want to go there. It was a dangerous place, and he'd stated he had no combat training nor abilities. In other words, he was going to get hurt because some arrogant man felt he'd be useless anywhere else. As if his blood spilling onto the gravel outside the city was a a benefit at all. The Shinobi held back a sigh, or an eye roll in Harkel's direction, his arms folded across his black armored chest tightly. He was forced to baby sit Izual, and probably Harkel.
Howefer, his vacant gaze shattered as Neysa motioned to him. His eye blinked, for a second it held a light, before it faded into its abyss again. Shinobi, she called him. Good, Harkel would soon know how to address him. He held back a snicker as she added he never spoke. However, his eye snapped to her as she grinned, telling the stranger to address him as 'shin'. He gave her the lightest shake of his head, his feathery red hair tickle across his cheek as he did so.
The bat spoke softly, shyly, his nickname. He didn't give the bat any form of reaction, his eye empty. However, he bowed once to the man, and as he introduced himself, he gave small, curt nod.
His eye narrowed instantly as Harkel's voice hit his ear. He turned his head smoothly with a calm, nonchalant air. His brow slightly narrowed as he spoke of Izual again. He would not only force the kid to go but berate him the entire way. Resisting a snort of irritation, he watched the man lean on his cane.
The Shinobi had already prepared. His pack was full of water, and more herbs for healing. It contained some small food rations, bandages, and some tea herbs. The man felt warmth would be wanted during the nights. He nodded, pointing to the large pack strapped to his person-- he was good to go.

Harkel Aristocratic Scholar Harkel nodded and held up his cane. "Well, let's not waste any more time. All those who are going, prepare to follow me into the Wastes... Those who aren't, well, what the hell am I talking to you for?!" The old man let out a "Harumph" of contempt, tapping his cane on the ground, though no earthquake broke out this time. He would now begin leading the group to the Gate of Tenepolis, looking up to it and then back at the group... Once more, they were about to leave the safety of the City of Shadows. "I have exhausted all the information that the records we have recovered in Tenepolis has to offer... So, we head south and infiltrate major Demonic settlements in the Black Wastes, and perhaps cross over into the Abyssal Plain." The guards on the top of the gate began to open it, watching the outside to ensure nothing gets in....
The old man turned to the group and gestured forward. "We go."

Sefas Minos Alchemist Sefas sighed as the doors opened up... It was like a floodgate was being opened and he was walking into the stream. Still, at any rate, the best way to find a way to overthrow those monsters and make it safe to travel again would be to stamp out the threat posed by that Shapeshifter Demon... Or, perhaps, Shapeshifter DemonS. There was something out in the wastes, a closely guarded secret by the Demons. The shapeshifters were incredibly dangerous, but if there was something that could help the group overcome them, it was their best bet. He checked the belts on his chest... The vials were full, and he was ready to head on out. He adjusted his crimson robe, nodding slowly.
"You heard lord fancy-pants. Let's get a move on." He began walking toward the gate with a sort of hesitant stride, keeping a short distance between himself and the old aristocrat... If something jumps up and tries to kill them, Harkel is going to be the first to go.

When you die, you are complete When you live you must compete Can the light outway the dark Can you go and leave your mark... Kiyoshi Jino Your Prayers are heard --------------------------- It seemed all the introductions were done and over with. Kiyoshi hand even learned of a name to adress the masked man by. Shinobi. It matched, in Kiyoshi's eyes. Just then was when Kiyoshi had taken notice of Shinobi's confusion towards the angel's relcutant acceptance. Kiyoshi wasn't actually sure as to how useful he had been during the previous excrsion, but he did know that if there were more creatures with similar weaknesses as the bone creature, Kiyoshi's light beams would be useful. That was Kiyoshi's reasoning.
When the bat man introduced himself, Kiyoshi gave another weak smile. "Nice to meet you, Izual." He greeted with a tone of exhaustion and grief. Izual was quite interesting to Kiyoshi. Of course, Kiyoshi also had is own uniqueness that Izual would probably learn of soon enough, much like the Harkel. Kiyoshi's smile faded back into his sorrowful look, and That seemed to be the end of all the introductions.
With everything being said that needed to be said, it occured to Kiyoshi that they were leaving. He nodded, armed himself with his spear, and started to give it a twirl. Insantly, a pain ran through his arm. he dropped the spear, wincing and letting out a small groan. He had forgotten that his arm was still in that state. Had he waited up earlier, he would have gotten the healing that Neysa had offered. Why was Kiyoshi so dumb? How coould he have forgotten like that. He knelt down, and picked up the spear with his left hand. "I should have waited." He told himself, grumbling at his own idiocy. ... If one day you reach you reach your goal Will you find that you are whole Go out now, complete your task An angel will do what you ask

Harkel Aristocratic Scholar Harkel called up to the guards as they opened the gate. "Remember to close the gate After we leave! Your Mistress doesn't want a repeat of the mistakes made in the past!" The guards muttered under their breath something about the old b*****d, and how he should try doing their job for a change... He held his head up high, releasing a snort of contempt. He began carrying himself past the gates, adjusting his hat. "Come along then, you gaggle of fools! To the Wastes we go!" Harkel took the first step into the Black Wastes, striding into that desolate darkness with all the confident arrogance of a Hawk. (And now, we Post in THE BLACK WASTES.)
