Level 10 Dark Spellcaster
If this card battles a Dragon or Spellcaster type monster it loses 500 atk during damage calculations. If the mosnters is not a Dragon or Spellcaster type mosnter, it gains 500 atk.

One thing you forgot to specify was it's ATK increase is also only for the Damage Step, just like it's ATK loss when battling a Dragon or Spellcaster. Or did you intend for it to keep that 500 ATK, and keep building up?

Well, with most cards, they have to say it, else it can be taken that it keeps the increase. =.
