"Hm..." Shula eyed the male across the water from her consideringly as she bent her head to drink. He was certainly attractive; the color of sand with darker markings. Mayhap he's worth a closer inspection. She lifted her head from the water and watched him more openly now.
The dark red lioness circled the water hole. Her general attitude would be obvious from the way she carried herself as she walked: proud, arrogant and queenly. She seated herself near the male, demurely wrapping her tail around her legs.
"Whats your name, stranger?"
Hopefully such a handsome male wouldn't be a total dullard.

He had been called dull before, but not for lack of emotion. He sometimes cared too much, and he had been the caretaker of Nyxie since she was a small cub. Now that she had her own kids she was better off, but her mate had since gone missing and by god he was going to make sure she was taken care of. But she usually had a good habit of making his blood boil in frustration,. She was just not smart and did not think things through. Mother and father had spoiled her.. She had been taught that she was gods gift to them, and he had been the one that had been raised to be the smart one.. 'Aw let your sister play the princess..' His mother would tell him all the time. Bah. Look where it got her now.
He had been so lost in his thoughts that the presence of another hadnt even registered. He cocked his head, blinking a bit to bring him back to his reality. He should stop thinking so hard while walking. It would eventually be the death of him.
"I go by Cairo." He said, looking at the golden designs that flowed over her pelt. She was interesting, for sure.

"Shula." It miffed her a little that he hadn't even noticed her approach, but she didn't let it show. She continued to watch him as he admired her coat, knowing it was in perfect shape and soft as could be. Shula shifted, inadvertently allowing the male a better look at her. "Its nice to meet you, Cairo."
Cairo was certainly a more impressive sight up close, complete with alluring eyes. A decent first impression in her book, now to keep him talking to judge the rest. "What brings you out here this fine day?"
