Looking to Shun as he answered about breakfast, Mitsu couldn't help but notice the far off sound in his voice. It looked like he was about to speak again but had decided against it, however. Wonder what he was going to say?
"Yes, I have time," Mitsu nodded still unsure if she wanted to get up. "I don't work until this evening." Slowly she put her feet on the floor one after the other. With another moment of hesitation she pushed her way up and with that she felt like the moment was over. Gathering up her clothes that were a little scattered she got dressed. She felt awkward wearing the dress but she didn't have much of a choice. Maybe....if they did this again...she would remember to bring a change of clothes or something.
"You seemed like you wanted to say something a minute ago," Mitsu said softly as she straightened out her dress trying to flatten out the wrinkles it had obtained while being bunched up on the ground.

Nodding to her, Shun still lingered at the edge of the bed a little longer. He heard her question but he was trying to really think of a way he could put things.
"I... was just thinking how glad I am to have ever met you.." he said quietly once he figured out the words. Standing up finally, he went to gather up his clothes as well. He technically could have worn something else, but since Mitsu couldn't really change, he figured he'd put himself in the same boat.
Once he was done, he looked over towards her to see if she was ready.
"There aren't many things anymore that can bring me joy. Seeing your smile... and just being around you does though.." he added softly.

Turning toward Shun as he spoke, Mitsu had a look of surprise on her face. For someone who was a little socially awkward he kept saying the sweetest things to her. It was confusing to hear yet it still made her heart flutter in her chest.
Smiling softly she moved over toward him once he was dressed. "I'm glad I met you as well. I'm glad...you can give me a reason to smile." Reaching out slowly she straightened his shirt collar needlessly. A light blush had started to cross her cheeks, just enough to give her pale face some color.
"Come on, I'll pay for breakfast." She offered with a smile.

Tilting his head as he saw the look of surprise, Shun wondered if he had said something wrong for a moment, but the thought disappeared as he saw her smile.
At her words, there was a warm feeling inside of him. There was something else, and he wasn't really sure why he felt that way, but for the moment he thought something was wrong with him. Trying to ignore the sensation, he looked down towards her as she fixed his shirt up a bit, noticing the slight blush there. He wasn't sure what the cause for that was though.
"Sounds good to me," he nodded as he headed towards the car, "If you have a specific place in mind, let me know."

Nodding Mitsu followed Shun as they left to head back to school to change and have breakfast. The rest of their day went rather smoothly though a little awkward a times. Later in the evening they made their way down the main street in town, the weather having grown suddenly cold and threatening to snow for the first time.
Curiously Mitsu peered into the shops as they passed, her eyes settling on nothing in particular. Her time with Shun had at least kept a faint smile on her face, but it was slowly fading as the day went on. The bad thoughts were starting to circle in her mind like vultures ready to pick off those feelings.

As they were making their way through town, a number of thoughts circled on through Shun's mind. Time went on, and he did notice that Mitsu's smile was weaker now than it was earlier in the day. Something must have been on her mind, but he had no real way of telling what that was. He was somewhat worried that his work to cheer her up was already wearing off.
Up ahead, he could see the Cafe where Mitsu worked and he let out a small frosted sigh as they approached. Pausing before they were there, he looked towards her, looking a little hesitant.
"Looks like we have to split soon," he said while thinking. Something had crossed his mind, but he wasn't sure if he should go through with it. Shifting a little, he glanced down the streets; there weren't really any people around. After lingering a little longer, he just threw caution to the wind and awkwardly stepped closer towards Mitsu. He slowly brought up a hand to brush some hair from her face and leaned down to give her a very light kiss on the forehead.
It was hard to tell what compelled him.
"...Remember what I've said..ok?" he added softly, referring to things said earlier that day and the previous night.

Hearing Shun, Mitsu looked up ahead at the cafe. "Yeah, I guess so." As she turned toward him she noticed Shun had stepped a little closer. A question forming in her eyes she turned up toward him as he pressed a light kiss to her forehead. It was such a simple gesture but one she never expected Shun to make. There were a thousand questions now forming in her mind and no way to voice them. Instead she blushed nodding awkwardly to Shun's request. "O..okay."
If she had been confused before she was completely dumbfounded now. What was she supposed to make of this? Or did he mean anything by it at all? For now she tried to sort her thoughts to the back of her mind to think about later so she wouldn't be distracted for work. Distractions meant accidents, accidents meant lots of broken dinner ware. "I...guess I'll see you at school?"

Seeing her blush, Shun wondered if he had done something wrong here. Most of the time he could care less about how others felt or anything like that, but it frustrated him here how he couldn't really understand or express everything that he'd like. He was going to try and decipher the things he felt here, but he knew he wasn't likely to make any progress.
"Yeah," he said quietly while taking a step back. Oh how he wished he could figure out these emotion things right now. Sometime later he was going to have to see if Bent-Tail could help him out at all, but not for awhile.
"Take care..."
Shifting a little awkwardly, he soon went on to head back to the school.

"Yeah, take care," Mitsu waved slightly as Shun left, hesitating before she turned and headed toward the cafe. Now that he was gone she could feel that sinking feeling swallowing her again....but her thoughts were also swimming around what had just happen and what Shun had said. What did it all mean?
Walking into the cafe in an almost zombie like manner, Mitsu was greeted by Morgan right off the bat.
"Hey Hun, how are you doing today?" He had noticed her decline in mood, it was hard not to. "Who was that tall dark and handsome type who was walking you here? Your boyfriend?"
"T..that was Shun and...no I don't....I don't think so." She said in a confused manner.
Seeing her acting a little off, Morgan smiled trying to lead her to the back. "Why don't you go change, I'm sure your mind will sort things out."
Nodding Mitsu disappeared into the back, the massive amounts of questions still raging in her mind.
