 Kira smiles. "One can never be too careful." She replies before returning to her food. She wants to finish it before it gets too cold. She finishes her meal and coke in silence and then gets back up and goes to the kitchen. I'll be sure to pack more than enough provisions..I just hope... She turns from washing her dishes as she hears an explosion in the distance. That the war hasn't harmed the peace yet..

 Chaos finished his meal shortly after Kira did. He got up from the table and walked into the kitchen. He placed his dishes on the counter next to the sink and took another drink from his can. After finishing his soda, he tossed it into the trash can and moved over to the stove to put away the leftovers.

Kira turns back to the sink and returns to washing the dishes. She isn't surprised that Chaos had finished not too long after she had. She doesn't look up when he sets his dishes in the sink, instead she proceeds to wash those as well.

After putting away the leftover casserole, he turned to Kira. "What are you still standing here for? I thought you were going to go pack," he said, teasing her slightly. She seemed to be almost done with the dishes already.

Kira chuckles softly. "The dishes wont wash themselves you know." She replies, finishing and turning the water off then taking a cloth off of the counter and drying her hands with it. "Its not like I take forever to wash them anyways." She says, turning to Chaos and smiling. She sets the cloth back on the counter and walks over to her room.

Chaos sighed and leaned against the counter after she left. After a couple moments, he walked out of the kitchen and over to his room. He may as well pack for the trip as well.

Kira pulls a slightly large backpack out of her closet and sets to work. She goes about her room, gathering essentials such as clothes. When she finishes there, she heads into the bathroom and grabs two medical kits, both filled with any supplies they might need, including bandages for her current wounds. She lets out a light sigh and then moves to the kitchen and packs up some snacks. When they first head out, it will be at least a day before they come to the next town, so they wont be able to get any food until then. We'll be passing through three towns, one of them is more of a city than a town and is much more dangerous..Even for Chaos..After the third one, we'll reach the forest and from there it will be a two day trip to my village. She closes her eyes, setting her pack on the table after double checking to make sure she has enough provisions. Its about a day's trip between towns, the only transportation we really have is walking due to the war. Faster transportation is likely to get ransacked or blown up.
