December 26-31
Ends at Midnight EST on Dec. 31
My Best Guess Contest

This winner of this contest will be based off YOUR BEST GUESS. For weeks now, some people have been working on Premeta quests, RPs, and other things. Clues have been dropped here and there to give you an idea of what is going to happen in the Metaplot. And I've been personally dropping hints to READ all of these things. There are clues everywhere. In SHOP. In RPs. In QUEST information. LOOK at everything and figure out what is NOT being said. Some hints are subtle. Others are blatant in your face clues.

Well, it's time to knuckle down and repeat those clues (quote) as well as summarize it into your best guess at what is going to happen and why.

The winner will receive a semi-custom ghostling.

Rules for this contest only:

1. PM'd forms or thread posted forms will be ignored. Post your answers on this My Best Guess thread only. The rules and form will be repeated there.

2. Staff is not allowed to enter. No exceptions. You've seen the crew forum. XD

3. Prove your point by filling the form out entirely. That is what we will base our decision on who wins and how many came closest.

4. Artist choice? Not sure. Check back to see if this has changed.

5. After the winners have been decided, you will be instructed who and where to send your ghostling semi-custom form to.

6. No whining or complaining about having to look for the information. We are not doing it for you. Think of it as a CLUE game and then tell me whodunit. XD

7. This contest ends promptly at midnight on December 31. Anything posted after that point will be disqualified.

8. As always, these rules are subject to change.

I knowz whodunit!!
Name: Rikku Takanashi
Proof 1:
Quote:
Seska watched Valkon closely, her eyes annoyed. Folding her arms, she stared as he continued to smirk at her. She wanted to wipe that expression right off his face. The only problem was she needed he and Chronos to do some things for her and her sister. And the yokai knew it.

"I need you and Chronos to do something for me," she finally stated still watching him.

Valkon laughed, his lips curling upwards. He folded his arms across his chest and replied, "What makes you think we care to help you, Seska?"

"You are more likely to do the opposite, but this is not just for our benefit. It's for everyone's. Living and dead. Besides you don't really think that you are on the same level as Juska and I, do you? Even with your new-found power?"

"Really? Shall we test and see? Besides, if that were the case, why are you here? You would not need us," he stated with an air of confidence and arrogance.

A growl slipped free of her lips before she could stop it. "Are you going to listen? Or do I need to go to Chronos himself?"

The shifter laughed. "I suppose I should. Chronos isn't likely to give you more than I have. But it will be a good laugh for us later." He was having a great deal of fun taunting the goddess, but how far should he push it?

Her eyes narrowed. If looks could kill, hers would have in that instant. "You are an..." she began.

"And I had you pegged for a lady. Just shows how wrong someone can be." he interrupted smoothly and in even more amusement.

Seska snapped. "Just shut up and listen." Instead of letting him taunt her further, she explained what she and Juska had decided to do.

Surprised, Valkon was silent for several long moments. A frown appeared on his face. He had no love for the living, but had it really come down to this? "You do realize what this will mean for both the living and the dead?"

"Yes. I would not be here if it was not necessary. It is not merely my choice in the matter, but also that of my sister. She agrees and it is one of the only ways to rebalance things again. They must learn."

"And the three not to be affected?"

"Anyone finding them remain safe, Valkon. But they have to figure it out. They all need to be stronger and work together." she replied.

"I don't know. I will guarantee nothing though I could have some fun with it. I need to speak to Chronos. It will be a good laugh if nothing else." he smirked, all nine tails twitching in amusement. The next moment he was winging across the woods. This might be serious, but he would have his fun anyhow.

"Jerk." Seska said, stomping her foot on the ground. "I was not finished yet." Perhaps she should go to Chronos instead.

Proof 2:
Quote:
"I came to see this place. To see how many came here. Do you know what this place is? It is Lux Lucis Atrum Luna Aedes, the temple of the goddesses- Juska and Seska. But the living have abandoned them for a false religion." He stared in the direction of the false church where it sat amongst the residences.

Touma's voice was clear and filled with a certainty that said he knew of what he spoke.
"No good will come of it and punishment will come swifter than many think. Perhaps for both living and dead."

Proof 3:
Quote:
He watched her begin to walk down the stairs, but then called out, "Just a moment." When she turned to stare back at him, Touma said, "Be careful. Remember three things. The park, the clocktower, and the old temple of the goddesses. You will always find safety there."

Whodunit: I think something like a huge storm or attack of some sort will hit both the living and the dead and test both in a way that only when both the living and the dead work together can they get through the test thus making them realize that they need each other and restoring the balance between the living and the dead

the reason behind my thinking is Seska mentions a event where the living and the dead have to work together then touma vists the abandonded temple of Juska and Seska on the request of valkon and mentions that because of the living have abanonded the dead that punishment would be certain for the living and maybe even the dead and then finally touma vists the clocktower to check on something again at valkon's request and meets a girl who he warns that she would always be safe in the park at the clocktower and at the temple of Juska and Seska

which is why i think that a test will befall the living and the dead and that only when they work together can they make it through the test
