Name: Jerishude Age: 23 Gender: Male
History: Likely born two prisoners, or between a guard and a prisoner, who maybe even between two guards, Jerishude doesn't know who his parents are and really doesn't care to know. He's only certain that the person who is currently watching over him isn't directly related to him in any way, shape, or form.
He's raised his share of grief and hell in the Weyr over the years, something that get a little more...controlled with age, though certainly it didn't decrease in the outcome. No strangers to chores or punishments, the only way that seemed to get Jerishude to fall into line was to send him off to be a Whiterider Candidate. Thoughts of pain kept him somewhat in line, as he wasn't too fond of the idea even though he knew it sorta came with the title, but the chance to own a dragon that was just as. . .well, Jerishude-sh was too hard to pass up.
Currently Jerishude's stood for a few clutches, he lost count somewhere along the way, but he seems to enjoy being out on the sands and running around with the others while chaos ensues.
Appearance: Possessing shaggy, dirty hair that is assumed to be either brown or very dirty blond, he keeps it nearly shorn off his head and therefore appears to be bald. He's got one eye slightly bigger than the other, hardly noticeable unless he's up on someone, and his eyes are a dark gray that resembles rough marble. Tall and thin he's rather wispy in his stance and bears little to no muscle despite having grown up doing heavy chores as a result of his more 'mischievous' nature. He is a bit stronger than he looks, but not by much. Long fingers line his hands and his nose is crooked, not to mention he has several long scars all over his face.
Clothing wise. . well, if it's clean and not too covered in blood he'll wear it. Okay, so maybe even if it soaked in dried (or wet) blood he'll still wear it. At least it keeps him covered and he doesn't mind the looks he may or may not get. In fact he enjoys them.
Personality: You know that kid who always creeped you out when you were younger, and then they grew into a creepy adult who just made you uncomfortable in a room? Yeah, that's Jerishude, and to be honest he's not really even trying to make you uneasy. If he were actually trying then some people might find it very, very hard to be around him and others may or may not outright avoid him. Regardless of the situation it's all going according to plan, as nothing is ever just left to chance. Jerishude likes to do things to the extreme, never taking it halfway or giving up when something is done. Issues are meant to be pushed, rules and barriers are meant to be tested, and people are meant to be poked and prodded until a reaction is produced. He's loud, he's talkative, but he's not friendly in the slightest. All of Jerishude's words are barbed, all of his actions are planned and calculated for the right amount of reaction at specific times. Of course if said reaction could lead to a physical altercation then it's more flight then actual fight. . .unless Jerishude thought he could take down whomever he was currently having an encounter with. Usually he just runs.
Probably the only good thing about Jerishude is how observant he is, though sadly he uses this odd skill for his own benefit though occasionally he shares the wealth with others. Originally developed as a means of manipulating others to his will, Jerishude takes great pains to pay attention to the people around him, even those that generally hold no interest for him, as their inner workings and what sets them off tends to fascinate him. He's gifted with a good enough memory that he doesn't need to write things down and seldom gets patterns or quirks mixed up between people (a painful lesson when he guessed wrong once), though he's pretty bad with names. He knows the face and the personality, but the name usually escapes him.
Almost (if not nearly) everything Jerishude does is for the shock and awe value of it all, from how he speaks to what he wears. He's not insane nor does he have any form of mental defect (other than maybe being a glorious b*****d). He knows that wearing bloody clothes will make some people run away from him or get sick, he knows that saying he'll go kill small animals will make others unhappy. Half the time he doesn't back up what he says he's going to do, he just enjoys the reaction that comes from it at the time. This has made him somewhat of a liar though every now and then he'll actually do what he says and complete a whole chain of events.
As a fun note, Jerishude does not like pain. At all. He generally avoids getting seriously hurt if he can (cuts and scrapes) are okay, and it is actually possible to bully him into doing something by threatening to do him bodily harm. Of course such threats usually need to be backed up on or else he calls a bluff and will fight back in a more subtle manner than fists. Jerishude can handle mild pain on a daily basis but will actually break down and become somewhat useless if the pain becomes something he cannot bare. He will also outright refuse to do something that he knows or assumes can end up with him in physical pain, though labor that comes with aches from hard work isn't on the "avoid" list.
Is this character being trained as a 'White Candidate'? Hell yes he is. In fact, having the chance to beat one down and force it to your will is the highlight of his life. No, seriously. Of course he could really do without the pain that comes with being bitten and mauled . . . .
Other: Jerishude doesn't mind destroying flitter eggs, since it's something to do that gets him out of chores. He usually volunteers for it openly since he knows it makes people uncomfortable, and he's all about the reactions.

Heyo Rown.
We weren't really sure where to put this guy, so.
The thing is he seems to be leaning heavily toward one (or more) disorders. Be willing to carelessly wear bloodly clothes and "enjoying the destruction of young life" is definitely not "normal".
For a white (or black), even if there's something decidedly "wrong" with him it would still be possible for him to Impress, but if he has an actual issue he can't Impress the other colors.
Mostly we just need to know how you plan to play him.
Thanks. heart

I updated him a bit, I hope it helps to explain things?
Jerishude enjoys getting reactions out of people, be them good or bad, and he finds it's much easier to get a response when he does something scary or unethical/immoral. He does know right from wrong and follows an odd code.
