Don't get it,if you want a good sandbox game I suggest you get Crackdown or Crackdown 2.

Well than get it since it has alot of things u didn't knew. There's like secert missions. Rlly fun missions. Lv up system from driving 2 guns. IT's defintly a step up from GTA vice city( I think that is the 1 b4 that).n Plus the best thing of all.... ur black. I'm not kidding, CJ is awesome( I haven't played it in a year, so i 4got his name)

GTA SA is a very good game. The missions will keep you busy for DAYS and when you get done with that...KILL EVERYBODY!!!!! <---Kept me busy for MONTHS

I will say this...I tried San Andreas and I was hooked for a while. I had fun playing through the first act of the game where it's a lot of street gang atmosphere and play. Tagging places, the missions, taking out drug dealers, tweaking out CJ's look to what you wanted, trying to get new guns, cars, etc....it was fun.
After the first act when you get forced from your hometown and begin your tour of Rockstar's remixed southwest USA notable locations, I lost interest. The missions got more ridiculous, and you get strung along long storylines that do little or just plain don't connect to what you started. By the time you get to the final act, I was sick of it.
I never found any pleasure in the of the 'sandbox' stuff people will promote about this game (gambling, whoring then killing the hookers, going on killing sprees, side missions) because I found the missions boring and I didn't enjoy the immature slaughter.
