Personality: Prompto maintains a seemingly positive, playful attitude. He is described as a flirty mood maker from a different social status compared to his other friends, and thus feels inferior but wishes to be useful in any way he can. Though not a combat-hardened warrior, Prompto has a knack for cheering people up and keeping things light-hearted. This actually stems from having had a sad and lonely childhood, and he conceals his naturally self-conscious, deep-thinking self, as much as he can. Prompto is good with machines, and tuned into technology and the latest trends. He is an avid lover of photography and chocobos.
Love Interest: Cindy but more of a passing crush than anything. So, technically, no one?
Biography: Prompto was originally created, not even born, in Niflheim as a clone of Vestael Besithia. He was created to be an MT though, apparently, his cells are slightly mutated which made if different than other clones and sort of made him his own person. At a young age, Prompto was taken from the facility by Lucian soldiers and brought into adoption by the ones he called his parents. They were more often than not busy which left him home alone for long periods of time. In his childhood, young chubby Prompto met a hurt dog (he named it Chibi) which he brought back to full health. Turns out that dog belonged to none other than Lady Lunafreya. She wrote him a letter of thanks and told him to befriend Prince Noctis. Prompto attempted to befriend him before but his insecurity about his weight prevented him from doing so. So, he worked out! It wasn't until that he was in high school and a lot slimmer did he approach Prince Noctis and the two became fast friends. When they became adults, Prompto found himself in Noctis' Crownsguard and joined him on the journey to Altissia to marry Lady Lunafreya. What could possibly go wrong?

"Bang, bang!"
Prompto let out a relieved laugh when another Heartless disappeared from his sight. He let out a small sigh, wiping away the sweat that formed on his brow. He twirled his gun and struck a pose. "And that's how you deal with a Heartless!" He said with a confident grin, pointing his gun in multiple directions as he pretended he was in some sort of action movie. Killing Heartless, even if it were just the little guys, helped him feel at least a little bit more confident about his little...issue. Just thinking about it now caused Prompto to immediately deflate as he rubbed at the barcode under the familiar wristband. He knew of the things such as Light and Darkness but he always made sure to push it from his mind so he could think of nothing but hope. But the constant reminder of this mysterious barcode and the foreboding feeling it gave him always made him wonder. Was it some sort of mark of Darkness? Was he destined to fall to Darkness? It scared him, really, which was why he continued to cover it up to just be forgotten until another day.
"Hmm..." Prompto looked off to the side. He felt like he was forgetting to do something. Which was weird considering he was fighting Heartless for a reason as well. Prompto shrugged it off as nothing more than him being weird and decided to partake in another hobby of his: photography. He liked taking pictures of the beauty that was Radiant Garden. It helped remind him of the progress that everyone had been making and how hard they were working. He may have only recently joined the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee but he still found himself proud of what had been accomplished so far. It really felt like he was making a difference. His little photography session was ruined when he heard a familiar voice.
"Helloooo. Earth to Prompto? Weren't you supposed to be doing something?"
Oh! It was Iris, Gladio's little sister. He looked down at his camera and then back at her. His silence most definitely spoke for him. "You were supposed to be meeting with the Keyblade Masters!" And then it all clicked. Oh man. He could still recall a few words that were directed at him but he sort of tuned it all out because he was too busy staring at Aerith to hear. But now that he thought about it, he was supposed to be doing that exact thing since everyone else had gone ahead and started looking around for the mysterious figure that had been seen hanging around. He was sooooo dead. And Leon was definitely going to chew him out for this. "Okay, okay. I'm gone! Thanks Iris!" He said, running past the younger girl and quickly ruffling her hair. He continued to run and run, doing his best to remember where he was supposed to be meeting them. It wasn't until he came across two out of place looking individuals that he definitely hadn't seen before. They must be the Keyblade Masters. And one of them was a cute girl. "Shiva have mercy..." He mumbled under his breath as he made sure he looked presentable and like he didn't just run around like a mad man.
"You must be the Keyblade Masters!" He said with a bright smile. "Sorry for being late. Everyone is out now looking for the cloaked guy and I got sidetracked doing the same." That was his excuse. He had been doing that before he found himself killing some Heartless, anyways, so it wasn't reaaaaallly a lie. "Anyways! I'm Prompto and I shall be your...guide...? I think...?" He trailed off a bit. He should really learn to pay attention next time. "But I'm sure you guys don't need my help. You're the masters after all. I'll just be...around." Prompto gives them the ol' finger guns. Yeah. That's how you most definitely come off as "not awkward". "I'll lead you to where he was last seen. Follow my lead!" And with that he turned around on his heels and began leading the way.
