Urias, A young knight apprentice, is tasked with killing a mad beast that attacked his home village. After reaching the beast's cave and killing it, Urias finds a small kitten hiding amongst a pile of bones. He picks her up and takes her home, only to find that she is actually a beautiful young girl, who also happens to be half neko, half vampire. What will happen between these two? Will they become friends, or more? Or will Urias have to wear extra armor on his neck area?

Treading across the mountainous landscape, was a young male with shoulder length blond hair, clad in the armor of a knight. His name was Urias. He had just left his village a few days ago to undertake his final test in order to gain full knighthood. He was tasked with hunting down a dragon that had ransacked his home once before. He came upon the beast's cave, then entered cautiously, drawing his longsword and preparing for the battle to come. Suddenly, large footsteps rang in his ears, as the beast, covered from head to toe in blood red scales, swiped a mighty claw at the young warrior. Urias avoided the swipe and slashed at the claw of the dragon, spilling it's blood onto the cave floor. The monster roared with rage and smacked him into the wall. Urias would not give in, as he charged at his target at full force. The beast let loose a stream of flame, but Urias plowed through it, though receiving some painful burns, and plunged his blade into the dragon's heart, felling the great lizard.

Urias heard a small clattering noise coming from a nearby pile of bones. Curious, the young knight took a few steps to inspect the pile, seeing a small tail hanging out from the bones. Something was alive under there, he knew for sure. He got on his knees and looked to find out what was in there. It seemed small, given the size of the tail, so he would be sure to establish that he meant it no harm.

Urias looked down at the small kitten before him, slowly and carefully reaching out to pick it up. He showed no signs of ill intent, so he hoped the animal would not react badly. He then wondered....why was a kitten in a pile of bones in a dragon's cave?
