kai_inuzuka can someone please tell me how to save settings to my ds i found an acess point and i did everything i could i just can not save the settings Have you tryed going to the main screen of a game that allows you to play it on the wifi? Usually on the screen before selecting to play the game, it also shows you an option to select "nintendo wi-fi connections". From there click on the blue tab that says "nintendo wifi connection settings". Select one of the connection tabs and select search for an access point. From there, select your access point. (if there is a password on the access point, enter the code,) than it should connect. I hope that helps.

If the access point you try to connect to is not encrypted to WEP format, than your DS won't connect because its incompatable. I was always curious why Nintendo doesn't allow the DS to connect to a WPA setting.

Any confirm buttons? look around your DS maybe the settings were saved already it automatically saves after testing. Unless your using DSi I don't know how to fix that. Just keep trying it or maybe your DS does not have a good internal memory and has been damaged.

Hmm. How well is the connection? 3 bars or what? Pokemon almost always requires 3 bars to work properly. Also be sure your next to the right connection source if there are other connections that involve wi-fi around they could interfere with them. If all else fails create another save for your access point and use the auto find signal software instead.

This means going downstairs and talking to the lady saying you want to go on Wi-Fi. You can go on Wi-Fi without a friend code.

kai_inuzuka Jesse The Eternal biggrin doh you need to go onto wi-fi so it will give you a friend code lol what do u mean go to wifi If your connection is working and it is green go to the basement of the pokemon center and ask the lady to go to the wi-fi plaza and you will get your Friend code. You need to connect the game itself to wi-fi not the DS settings. You already did that part so you need to talk to the lady in the basement of the Pokemon center. From what I just read from the topic it sounded like you don't have your friend code correct?
