You can't jump back and forth between enemies. The way this game is set up would allow you to change who you're fighting to suit the dice roll you get which just isn't fair to everyone else. You could change from one enemy to another until the new enemy is defeated but you can't switch back and forth on a whim. There's just no way to verify it so I'm afraid I can't count any of the last defeats.
