Today it has been announced that the highly popular movie “Unfair”, starring Shinohara Ryoko will get a sequel next year.
In 2006 the drama “Unfair” was so popular that it spawned a special drama in the same year and a highly successful movie in 2007. Shortly after that, Shinohara took a break from acting to give birth to her baby boy and to completely focus on him once he came into the world. This year, she made her long-awaited comeback and is currently starring in “Ougon no Buta”, her first drama lead role since her maternity leave.
In “Unfair 2” we are finally going to find out the true wire-puller behind all the incidents that kept Yukihira Natsumi (Shinohara) occupied throughout the drama and the movie.
Shinohara commented: “I hope it will become even more ‘unfair’.”
“Unfair 2″ is scheduled for a release in late 2011.
