I just recently saw the second live action film (at least, I believe it was the second.)
The Last Name, and may I say, WOW.
Although it was upsetting how different the characters looked fro the originals, and how off the plot was at parts, I LOVED the ending.
I think what L did was absolutely BRILLIANT.
The only thing that was saddening, is that he only wrote 23 days (If you saw the movie, you'll understand)
Who else has seen this movie? And what did you all think about the way it ended?

Yeah that was saddening, poor L. The way he was holding the chocolate bar at the end. And i think that was light's dad with him at the end where L said he thought of him as a father. Its been a while since i've seen this. Might need to re-watch it.

It's against the rules. I didn't like the movies at all.
1- Light would NEVER try to kill his own father
and
2- Light would NEVER have killed his date from movie 1.
