I've recently been thinking about getting us our own forum boards, so we don't have to be stuck on Gaia. As it stands, we've had a number of interested parties turn away from BHotR because it was hosted on Gaia, for a number of reasons, and so I have been thinking about getting us our own forums and our own website, possibly with a real Wiki and everything.
Unfortunately, this costs money, somewhere between $70 and $120 a year at the least, and adding things such as a Wiki will make it cost even more. Naturally, we will also have to go about doing such things as transferring our enormous log of in character posts, most of the side plots, and all of our technology and setting information.
The benefits of this will be having our own forums with our own control over everything, A place without any stigma of being childish, retarded, and what have you. It also allows us to have a place where we can place advertising, which, if we get enough, can eventually pay for the site or pay for commissioned artwork and the like.

I am willing to host BHOTR on the Star Army server for free if you're interested. I could set up a subdomain like bhotr.stararmy.com which would also be accessible via bhotr.roleplayforums.com -- let me know if you're interested, Kai.
