"Dodge that attack, LuLu!" Arlie ordered. Pursuit was a Dark-type attack and it could do some serious damage if it hit. She'd rather not let that happen.
The female Litwick nodded and slowly began to fade away, attempting to disappear into the air.

Molly looked around her. This place was beautiful, she addmited. She heard thunder roaring in the sky. Was it possible for it to rain here? The trainer didn't question it, and put the 'Pokemon Link' away, just in case. Molly started to walk through the forest, glad to have some shade.

The pokemon's fangs would snap on thin air as she turns as quick as a whip on her own coils. Her head was down, and her eyes tried to lock on her opponent then ...as she slither her body behind her. Her coils tighten so strong around herself that she was ready to spring again, thought this time her movements would be in her own defense. Her tail rattling loudly as she moves backwards a bit ...ready to flinch or dart away as swiftly as she had struck.

The sound of wings above Molly's head was the only warning of the pidgey in flight. The pokemon would wing to the left and then dips one wing and turns around to face her opponent as she lands lightly near the Molly. A chirp would escape her voice ....as her tail would be fanned lightly as she looks at the human.
The small pokemon ..a Togepi watches as well. Both were curious, but neither made that first move forward as one stay high ...and the other low hiding in the grasses as that crackle of thunder would soon become a light rain as lightning streaks across the sky.

((I might log off for a bit, give you a bit of a break from two people. I do have stuff to do here.))
Ciel reappeared in front of Phantom, wincing from the pain that was forced upon it. The candle looked back at his trainer, hoping he'd make the right decision.
Phantom had tilted his head to the right. The Kecleon was fast, that was certain, and it would be perfect for his team but he didn't want to risk getting his only friend killed over his obsession. He breathed out slowly. "Ember..." He said quietly and watched as Ciel's eyes widened in fear. "Your going to be fine, Ciel. Just use Ember and I promise we'll run the next chance we get, ok?"
The candle nodded and exhaled the flames that had an eerie feel to them.

Molly looked up, and saw the Pidgey. A ghost of a smile came on her face. She hadn't seen a Pidgey in a long time. They didn't flock in Canalave City. She heard another crack of thunder, as she walked through the grass.

((It's fine, I am going to log off soon myself ...very soon, because someone else wants the computer, now. rolleyes ))
[5 - 4 + 7 - 9 = -1 no damage = burn]
Damage 2 - attack reduced by 1 level]
The flames would catch on skin then ...as the Kecleon actually winces in pain. It had been expecting quite a bit, but it hadn't expected that. The flames to catch on his skin ...the pain to make him winces lightly as he felt an inferno on his scales. His claws went to try and pat it away ...to take away the stinging as his eyes showed his pain and hatred of that attack.
he hadn't expected to actually get burn by it ...as his tail went long for a moment.
This was so troublesome, but being burnt was even more troublesome as he launches himself forward. Once more ...he would ...strike out, but at the last moment instead of a claw that would come to pierce the pokemon's tongue would flick out instead as it aimed for the head of the Litwick as it would try to lick his forehead.

A disgusted look appeared on the candle's face as it watched the tongue slip out of the Pokemon's mouth. He intended to disappear again, to dodge the attack.
((Sorry for the short post. Everyone has their moments and this is the one where I'm getting kicked off to watch Anime.... TTYL))

A single of movement would risk betraying the Togepi's hiding place as Molly watches the pidgey. One dark colored feather would float down to land right on the foliage that was hiding the Togepi. So close that the pokemon could actually simply move the leaf and rid it of the feather, but such a motion ....if the girl only looks she would find herself staring in the eyes of the pokemon.

"Good job, LuLu!" Arlie called. "Now try an Ember attack!" This was turning out well so far. Maybe they'd be able to take this Ekans down and capture her.
The Litwick sucked in a deep breath and spouted red-orange flames at the snake Pokemon.

Molly's eyes followed the pidgy, as it flew. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw movement in the grass. Molly bent down next to it, moved the leaves, and reviled a Togepi.
