Hello Everyone! Sorry for my long absence, I hope everyone is doing well!
I am very excited because we are now very close to Yule!!!! =] I've read that this year the Winter Solstice falls on December 21st, so we have 17 days before Yule! Or around there, hopefully I did my math right sweatdrop
So, I know I ask this question for every Sabbat, but what are your plans for Yule? What does Yule stand for to you? Please Share Pics, Videos, Information, Anything =D

Today I made the solstice tea that I posted a video about and it was amazing =D though, a bit tangy for my taste, as well as my boyfriend's. So we added another 1/2 cup of sugar to the mix. And in my own personal glass I put more cinnimon and cloves because they are so yummy! My Yule tree is set up and the altar is coming together quite nicely! I have almost all my shopping done and I'm very excited =]

I made that tea after the first snowfall in my city. I love her mix, but omitted the lemon. I'm hoping to buy a stand to use as an altar in my bf's room. The Goddess and God also need representation too.... I will have to find some cute statures to use...
I've decided to work really hard at filling my BOS. If I am going to set a good "example" of a BOS that is useful... perhaps I need to walk the walk. I have many books, I just need to find what fits with me and then use my creativity in a useful manner as well. My mind finds me wanting to do the work, but I get apethetic as to where I am going to start.
We are going to have another big get-together again for Yule. Gift exchange will also occur here as well.

I love the lemon part personally lol. But to each their own =]
I have my altar set up in my boyfriends front room, but it's not done yet. I still have to get more things for it, sorta. The basis of it is complete. I have an offering dish, my Goddess and God candles, and my altar candle, and I try to keep my pentagram necklace on my altar to sorta represent the other elements, and I also have my mini yule tree on the altar as well. I find it looks quite nice as it is, idk if I'm going to put anything else on it.
I have done the same thing, I have almost finish my section of sabbats, even though it is ever growing. I added information about the God and put some more in about the Goddess as well. After I finish those three sections I'm not sure what I'm going to do next to be honest with you.

After I finish those three sections I'm not sure what I'm going to do next to be honest with you. Well... redface my BOS is a 3-1/2", three ring binder..... I have so many things in it that I will need to have two separate or find a place to buy a heavy-duty 4" or 5" binder. I have sections in my BOS as such: Intro, Personal, My Matron and Patron Deities, Invocations, Sabbats, Correspondences, Articles/Encyclopedia sections, Crafts, and very last is my own section for Spellcrafts. sweatdrop I'm a bit of an organizing freak when it comes to important things.

oh wow, that's a lot of sections 0.o Mine is General B.O.S. Information, Sabbats, The Goddess, The God. That's it XD I might make a section just for esbats, but I've been putting that in the Goddess section.
And mine is I think...1 or 2 inches, maybe 1 1/2 I'm not sure. I got mine from Walgreen =]
It's good to be organized n.n As you can see, i'm just sorta organized, but that is what works for me. I figure I can always change it if it doesn't work for me. =] So whatever feels right to you n.n
On a side note...2 more presents and I'm done with Yule Shopping =DD Woot! haha. Mom is getting the Breakfast Club on DVD and Little Brother is getting an iTunes card n.n I found these cute little candles for 66 cents at my work, there is a santa, a tree, and a snowman in this little pack and was wondering if it would be a cool thing to add on my altar? What do you guys (or witchunterobin) think? lol

Here I am again to say....I have no idea sweatdrop It seems the first few years I always ended up working on Yule : not much I could do then. And now I've been having finals a few days before hand so....I don't really get to think about it.
One of these years I'll manage something right for it (and one of these threads I'll actually have plans gonk )

I like your idea about the candies.
...I, um...., won't be spending Yule with a group of people. Just three or four people. Things have happened and people have been nasty, two-faced backstabbers. Ah ha ha.... SOOOOOOO YEAH. I'm going to re-route and find a new way to go with this Yule.

Thankfully, my worst exam is over so I'll be able to celebrate Yule this year (yay!). I'm still unsure as to what I am doing for a ritual, but I might incorporate a cauldron and an orange (as oranges are the epitome of solar fruits). Still not 100% sure though, as physically I am stilling outside of the classroom where I took said exam (I feel 100 years younger now...)
