Oh he was so happy that he hadn't forgotten her name. "As far as I know it doesn't mean anything in particular. Though I go by the name Vor." Not that many knew that since they tended to run from him. No one's looking. Eat her. Vor shook his head to escape the pesky voice and took a drink. " The water is refreshing and slightly sweet. How wonderful!." He bent down to take another drink. "Shall we grab something to eat before twirling again?" He just assumed that since they had a good time dancing that they'd do it again. Not to mention he would be close to her once again. And hopefully filling his belly would stop the voice for the rest of the night.

Stella was so happy. It seemed that Vor wanted to dance with her yet again! What a wonderful day this was turning out to be! She did not even scowl that much. Just when she was thinking of turning Vor down for food and go straight back to twirling her stomach growled loudly. She blushed," I think we should go and get something to eat, Vor." Where do we go?

Vor smiled as her stomach growled and the grin only grew as she used his name. " I think I saw some meat over there, when I flew in." He nodded to their right before slowly starting that way. He waited til Stella moved up next to him before continuing on. " And look a table of fresh berries. So would you care to join me at the meat or do you eat berries?" He blushed again and suddenly felt very insecure. Growing up in the mountains he had no clue if all the Shakaiyo ate meat here.

Stella smiled at Vor." I eat both meat and berries. I prefer meat but berries are so sweet and nice." Stella started walking towards the food table. "So Vor do you normally come to parties like these?" Stella stopped in front of the berry table and put some into her mouth. "These taste soo sweet. You should try some."

He smiled as she appeared not to be phased by his lack of knowledge." No, actually. This is my first, and why everything looks so interesting." He smiled sweetly at her but shook his head. " I'm strictly a meat eater. Berries tend to make me sick. But please eat your fill." He needed desperately to go eat since the berries reminded him of blood and he didn't want to think about that on an empty stomach. " If you'll excuse me for a moment, I'll grab some meat for us." He bowed gracefully extending his wings as he did so before tucking them back in and heading off to grab some meat. Before she could think to follow he chomped down on a bite or two before tearing a leg off for her. He gallantly returned to her and placed the food at her feet.

Stella looked at the meat on the ground. She could not believe that he gave her food. Tonight was full of surprises. She bent down and started to eat on it. "Thank you for the meat. Why have you not come to parties before? I usually try to avoid them but I am made to come. Does none of your family make you come here?"

Vor smiled as she started to eat a feeling of rightness sat in his stomach, well did until she mentioned his family. Trying not to grimace he sat down next to her. "I'm not invited to parties, I seems to scare most Shakaiyo and I left my family behind in the mountains. They didn't approve of my choice and renounced me. I think I'll go grab us some more meat." He hurried away to compose himself and tore a huge chunk out of the carcass this time. And had to drag it back to Stella.

Stella felt so bad at hearing Vor's answering. She did not know what he meant by his "choice" but no one should ever not have family. As he came back from getting the meat she went over and gently nudged her face against his hoping that he did not mind. "You do not scare me. I think you are so nice and beautiful. I can not imagine anyone not liking you." She looked up into his eyes so he could see the truth shining in them

Vor froze for a moment as she nudged him, he'd never gotten any affection like this before and a strange warmth settled in his belly. "I'm glad I don't frighten you. No one's ever called me beautiful before, so thank you." He really didn't know how to react to such positive feelings so he just scooted the meat closer to Stella before taking a small bite himself.

Stella did not want to quit nuzzling Vor. It felt so right being close to him. However, she thought Vor would think her strange so she began to chew some of the meat. . She was not used to anyone getting food for her and it gave her an awesome feeling inside that Vor would do it for her. She did not know what else to say to Vor so she decided to comment on the food."This meat is quite tasty."
Then she suddenly had a thought come to her. What if Vor was only here for a little while and she would never get to see him again! A panic suddenly arose but she hurried and calmed herself down before Vor could see. This was ridiculous. She does not even know him! Why should she be sad that he might not come back? "Um..Vor do you come this way often?", she decided to ask him nice and calmly. A very casual question.

Vor didn't want to stop the contact so when she started to eat again he moved next to her, their flanks barely touching. " It's very good meat, we should find out where it came from so we can get our own." He took a huge bite and it took him awhile to get it down so he could answer her without being rude. " To this part of the Oasis, not usually too many Shakaiyo around, but my den is at the Southern tip. Not a far flight from here though. How about you, do you live around this part?" Of course flying covered much larger areas then walking so even if she lived a bit off it wouldn't be too much to fly and see her. That is if she wanted him too.
