I started in 2007. A friend asked me to join, so I did. i wasn't really interested at first and i only came back for each major event (halloween, summer, winter) for a few years. i even played zOMG around when it came out, i remember a friend gave me some rings to start out before they were soulbound (they were CL 1 so I guess it was okay? xD) i became legit active this past summer cool

i started in the summer of 07, and i remember it like it was yesterday =w= my friends were all talking about these site called gaia online, but at the time i didn't think much of it, it wasn't until like several days later that i decided to come and check this site out, so i made an account, and did what any newb would do, randomly begin to add ppl u never even knew or talked to xD and eventually i added my friends whom i knew in real life and now im here biggrin though i haven't always stayed on, there was one point in 08 where i left and almost never came bak, but i did for some unknown reason XD, back then though my avi was nothing like this! i was much more poor, and i didn't really where a lot of items, the only things i owned that werew actually vaulable were the MCs, but when i came back some time in late 08 i changed my avi, it was the first time in about a year xD and after that i began to change more often, like maybe once every month or two

I got an email invite from a friend on 11/18/08, but I ignored it and sent it to a folder deep in my email history. After much harassment at the beginning of this year, I agreed to join one (more) game of his choice. He sent me a link for Gaia with a different account, so I clicked on his link one month ago. After a terrifying ordeal (which I have outlined in my journal), I had arrived in Gaia.

Well, I made my very first Gaia account way back in '03. I think I found it in an "Ask Jeeves" search for "anime rpgs". It wasn't what I was looking for, but it was a sort of "love at first sight" thing. Alas, young love is fickle and I quickly lost interest. =u =;;; I can never remember the password for the account, but I check the profile from time to time to be all nostalgic and shocked that it still exists. xD
Anyway, I got back into Gaia in '05 and now I live here. See? You got a home, Diff! It was Gaia the whoooole tiiiime! crying *cue cheese-y full house-esque sitcom music* "Let's Get Together Yeah Yeah Yeah was filmed before a grunny audience." "Did you know sitcoms were originally intended to be used in the interrogation of criminals, but were deemed cruel and unusual punishment? Well, bye-bye!"
....yeah, I may or may not be on a ton of cold medicine right now. rofl Bye! Bye-bye for real!

For me, when I was younger I always watched my older sis play her games, and one of them was Gaiaonline. of course, she told me I was underaged when I told her if I could make an account, so I waited till I was old enough (200 cool and my sis donated some of her stuff so I wouldnt look like a total noob. I was one of those head start beta testers for Zomg too...but I used my sis's account. The only reason why I kept on was because of Zomg. Well, from 2010 January to September I got bored and didnt play. If I remember correctly... when I started:
2009:
and then after 2010 september when I stopped hanging around Bill's Ranch and went with a friend to new adventures, I wear this to commemorate my longest time being there (which is from when Zomg first started to 2010 sep.)
And then in 1 month I became CL 10.0 razz

Red Kutai Different...Very. Lol, it's fine, Red. I spend 97% of my time in guilds. 3nodding Do Pink Links have anything to do with Pink giftboxes? EDIT: Also, your question got me thinking of how my avatar has evolved over time. Coincidentally, I recall every avatar I've ever worn (significantly, at least):

Changed a bit since I started, huh? xp
Found this in a post from October 2006 xD Different...Very. (was a space bubble, that I cant find in the list)
TADA!!!Not exactly, no. Pink Links were an old random event (similar in nature to the Giftboxes, though relatively more common, if I recall correctly), where a random link on the page would glow pink - and clicking that link would grant you 1,000 gold; 'course, that was back when 1,000g was a lot to get all at once. I always thought it was clever, as it pushed users to explore the site in ways that they normally wouldn't; I guess they didn't... EDIT: Also, your question got me thinking of how my avatar has evolved over time. Coincidentally, I recall every avatar I've ever worn (significantly, at least): Changed a bit since I started, huh? F---in' A. I hate when I do that. I edited instead of quoted.
