Sunagakure

Shinobu woke up immediately, the moonlight shining upon her. She felt some sort of thick liquid on her hands. Looking down, she saw something red, realizing it was blood. ~Not again! Not here, not now!~ A kunai came at her, but she easily dodging it, even though it barely scratched her cheek. She looked around, and all at once, she realized there were dead bodies everywhere. "PLEASE! KILL ME NOW! I DESERVE IT!!" Shinobu cried out. The Sand Ninjas laughed at her as she fell to the ground crying. The man she saw earlier stepped up, offering her a hand "You saved us, young lady. Enemy ninjas came at us by surprise while we were dealing with you..." he didn't finish his sentence as Shinobu cried out "You have no IDEA what you're doing with me." The man brushed off her comment and said "Come, we'll take good care of you." She refused, wanting to run away from them to avoid endangering them any longer. The urged at her, but she BADLY needed a place to stay. Finally, she gave in, even though she knew bad things would happen if Shinobu ever fell asleep or was knocked out.

After a few moments of silence, Shinobu's curiosity took over, "Can you tell me what went on back there?" She gestured at the man once again. The man sighed, but said "Whenever you were knocked out, or at least we thought you were knocked out, you immediately began killing in a frenzy, a totally different attitude from when you were 'awake'. Your eyes were blood red, but luckily you didn't attack any of our ninjas. The point is, you saved us. You have some impressive little jutsus girl." Shinobu shook her head in disapproval. She remained silent for a moment, but asked, "Whats going on here? What I mean is, you interrogated me at the gates, no other village I have come across has been as rude, so something must be going on." One of the ninjas surrounding us spoke up "We owe our lives to her captain, she should know the truth." The man nodded, "You see, our Kazekage has been kidnapped."

"Your Kazekage?" Shinobu asked. The ninjas nodded dimly. "What happened?" The man spoke up once again, "An Akatsuki member came by, trying to capture Lord Gaara, since he is a jinchuriki. He fought him as best he could, saving the village while fighting, but he was overwhelmed. We're trying not to let the villagers know about this incident, so other villages won't attack us." Shinobu understood what was happening, but asked "Is there any way I can help?" The ninjas murmured to one another, but the man spoke up "If you can guard the entrances to the village gates then that would be great." "Alright then, I won't let anyone get through to the village, I swear." She promised. "Good. And miss, what's your name?" Shinobu seemed surprised, since no one had asked for her name before, "Shinobu. And yours?" "Baki. Welcome to Sunagakure."

Baki led me to what I thought was the kazekage's room, since documents, folders, and papers were laid on a desk. The room had a large window behind the desk, of course showing the village. "Alright, Shinobu, you are one of the few outsiders that know about the Kazekage's disappearance, no, you are the ONLY outsider that knows this. This means we trust you explicitly, and if you violate this trust, we won't be afraid to kill you." Baki said in a serious tone. She believe him, of course, then again, who hasn't threatened to kill her? "Understood." Shinobu replied, unfazed. Baki nodded, "We need you to help guard the front gates, warn us in case of any oncoming attack, and defend the village." Shinobu nodded her head silently, and already knowing where the front gates were, she quickly disappeared, leaving only a trail of smoke behind.

Shinobu got to the main gates, recieving very curious glances from the Sand ninja. However, Shinobu seemed to be on their side, so they continued watching out for enemy ninja. She went to the entrance of Sunagakure, feeling as if she was just a third wheel for the other ninja. Sitting down quitely, Shinobu continued scouting the perimeter with her black rimmed eyes. That was when she spotted several shinobi coming towards the main gates. She threw several kunai at the approaching ninja, all while hidden under the sand. A kunai scratched from you could tell the blonde headed kid's cheek. "What the-" The kid said, managing to flee from the rest of the thrown kunais. The moonlight shown upon all three of the ninja, revealing their forehead protectors. ~Leaf ninja!?"~ Shinobu thought. She came out of the sand, the ninja prepared to fight her.

"Wait!" Shinobu called out. The Leaf ninja stopped in front of her. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize that you were companions of Sunagakure." The three ninja looked at her curiously, and from what Shinobu could tell, the more experienced one spoke up, "It's fine. I'm sure most ninja would make that same mistake. I am Kakashi Hatake," he gestured to himself, then pointed to the others, "This is Sakura Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki." She looked at them all curiously, knowing that she would not forget their names. "I'm Shinobu, and I'm not a ninja, well, officially. If you're looking for the gates, I can show them to you, if it's no problem." "Yeah, yeah whatever! C'mon Kakashi Sensei we can find the gates by ourselves can't we!?" The one called Naruto said. "Oh be quiet! Can't you see she's trying to make up for her mistake?" Sakura shook Naruto. "It'll be our pleasure." Kakashi said. "Come then, we must hurry." Shinobu replied, worried enemy ninja might spot them in the middle of all the sand.

Shinobu took Kakashi, Naruto, and Sakura to the Gates, showing them to Baki. Baki soon explained the situation to them, and eventually took them to the hospital. Shinobu didn't know why they would need to be at the hospital, but followed them anyway. They were all lead to a room where a boy was writhing in pain and trying to escape the room. "I have to get to Gaara!" the boy called out. "Kankuro!" Baki called out. Baki and the other medical ninjas restrained him as he started explaining what had happened to Kankuro. "One of the Akatsuki members, Sasori, had badly injured Kankuro while he was trying to retrieve our Kazekage." Kankuro hissed, still trying to get away, but the pain became greater each time. "Stay still!" A girl, with two ponytails exclaimed. "I can help with that." Shinobu quickly said, and without asking permission, she touched various spots on his neck and chest, and within five seconds, was paralyzed.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!?" The one called Kankuro yelled.
"Um.... paralyzed you?" Shinobu answered.
"I'm not too sure that it might be a very good idea..." Sakura said.
"Well, it's better than having him thrash around!" Shinobu replied.
"Hm.... very well then. It would be wise to keep like this, especially since you need to apply medical ninjutsu."
"Yes, sir."
~Skipping some random stuff...~

Shinobu went outside, deciding to take a walk around Suna. It was fresh and cool outside, and not many things bothered you... except when people started to look at you strangely.
