Okay, it's been many months since I've seen my recruiter. The fact was I was about to go into processing, but with my information being on file for a year, and my fiance---who's in the army--convinced me to not join, I decided to put it off to try for college. Of which I'm sure isn't going to work because of financial aid. And I feel this is what I want to do. After my fiance breaking it off with me for communication reasons, I feel all the more motivated to join.
The thing is I had only talked to my recruiter a few times, and I feel like I'm not getting the information I need. I want to be a medic (I cannot elaborate because I have not been given the information I need). There's only 2 recruiters there, and I want information.
What types of questions do you feel I should most definitely ask the next time I'm there?
And I've posted here once before about my health conditions. It's been almost a year since I've been off zoloft and my thyroid condition---I heard if you're hypothyroid, on medication, and have been euthyroid (normal TSH hormone levels) for a year you can join. And all my blood tests have been normal. Of course, this is something I'm going to have to ask, but my recruiter is, or was at the time, new. And she made if VERY obvious. Can I switch recruiters? I'd asked my fiance when he joined the army, and he made it seem like you're practically married to your recruiter once you sign some crap (married...irony)
Also, I'm starting off fresh and keeping options open. I want to know as much information about the medic field in every branch. If you know anything, please spill. I'm cross between the air force and following my dad's footsteps in the navy.
