Born into a poor home on the Malachite Ocean ( from Puzzle Pirates), Tetra was soon left to die as a child after her parents were both executed for unknown reasons. Being the young age that she was, she could fit into small places and hide if she saw trouble, and later grew into a thief. She faced starvation and the only education she got was advice from the other thieves that she met. At the age of 9, she joined a scurvy crew of pirates who she grew to love.
This crew taught her everything they knew, and after being one of the most feared bands of pirates around, they were captured and executed. However, Tetra managed to escape from her fate and soon, at the age of 14, started her own crew named The Salty Sharks. Today, they are one of the most feared bands of pirates and they still terrorize the seas.
