We've (slowly) been putting together info on our favorite characters, but it would also be helpful to have a database about the writers as well.
This thread is open to all. Just pick whatever comic book writers you like and list there info.
Possible info: -What titles have they written? -What are they famous for? -What is the general concensus of their popularity? -What company do they generally work for?
.....that sort of thing.

[B]Brian K Vaughan
Recent titles written:
Mystique (Marvel) Runaways (Marvel) Ultimate X-Men (Marvel) Y: The Last Man (DC/Vertigo)
Best known for: His breakout monthly series Y: The Last Man for Vertigo about the only male surviviors of a catastrophic plague in the year 2002; wisecracking escape artist Yorick Brown and his monkey Ampersand.
General concensus: Vaughan is an excellent writer when working on original material (YTLM) or single character driven titles (Mystique), but has drawn criticism on team based books.

Fabian Nicieza (FabNic)
Thunderbolts (M) Cable/Deadpool (M) Hawkeye mini (M) X-Force mini (M) X-Force (old series) (M)
Best Known for: His run on the first Thunderbolt series and well as the new series. He used to write X-Force way back in the day (and possibly X-men, I'm not sure). The Cable/Deadpool run is also very popular.
General Concensus: FabNic is known as being a good comic book writer. He uses good continunity and rarely makes errors in judgement that seem to be common these days amongst writers. The current X-Force series is the only title that has been labeled as bad title. Other than that he is a largely popular writer.
