Adalia smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of her head. "It's a talent, I suppose." If one could call it that. Not only could she take lovely pictures of scenery, but she could also arrange people that objects that were just as nice. She'd always been fairly good at it, knowing which poses would compliment a picture best.
"If the snow gets in my camera, it'll get wet and that might break it." she explained; a broken camera would certainly make for a very upset Adalia. "The cold isn't particularly good for it either."
Alice chirped as Luka tagged her and looked up as the other shadow flew towards the ceiling. "Ali!" For a moment, she didn't know how she was going to catch him all the way up there. Then, she remembered her little companion: Cheshire. Perhaps she couldn't fly, but the strange creature that followed her certainly could. "Lice, ali!" As if on command, Cheshire flew up towards Luka, intent on 'tagging' the little shadow - he was definitely going to have his work cut out for him.

"Mm, and broken cameras are never good." She was pretty sure Adalia would cease to function if her camera broke.
"So, is that really all you've been doing? Is that guy still bugging you?" She hoped he wasn't. Adalia didn't need the bullshit involved. She knew how her friend was with men. Perhaps, before she left, she'd go give him a 'warning', of sorts...
Luka's eyes widened as Cheshire went after him; it was a bit disconcerting to have a floating face chase you. He trilled, darting over to the shadows cast by the ceiling on the ceiling fan. He zipped into them, hopeful that Cheshire would not be able to follow. It was creepy! So very creepy! But only when it chased him. Any other time it was cool.

"Mostly, yes." Adalia paused at Kali's question as she fidgeted a little. "He's started to lay off a little...I think he might finally be taking the hint." At least, that was what she hoped - Bryan hadn't been bothering her as of late, so perhaps he'd finally given up. However, there was another matter to concern herself with now. "But...there's anothr guy now, Devlin. He's...very persistant." She sighed a bit, scratching the side of her head. "I'm don't know what to do."
Alice giggled from the floor as Luka fled from Cheshire, clearly disturbed by the idea of having a floating face chasing him. Cheshire didn't seem to be bothered by Luka's fleeing at all, however, and merely followed the little until he disappeared into the ceiling fan. Apparently, this DID provide Luka with some cover. On the floor, Alice pouted slightly - that wasn't fair! There was no way for her to get Luka at all now. "Alili, lice!" Now how was she supposed to tag him?

Luka peeked out of his hiding place and looked down at Alice, wondering what her problem was. Why didn't SHE just come up and get him, instead of sending the scary face after him? This was when he realized that she, unlike him, could not fly. So, to be fair, he slipped from the ceiling fan and drifted down to the ground. For a moment, he hovered, and then landed, falling on his rear. He could stand, yes. But sitting seemed like more fun. "Lu." There. NOW he was on the ground. Did that make it better?
"Well, I hear tazer is a universal sign of 'no'. Though if that doesn't work we could sicc Uncle Viktor on him. Oooh! Ooh! Or, or, I could turn him into a toad!" She was way too excited at the prospect of that.

Cheshire took his place next to Alice again as she 'called' him back. The shadow girl seemed to be pleased when Luka plopped down on the floor nearby, and scurried over to plop down next to him. "Ali, lice lice, li!" She reached out and touched Luka's wings, clearly fascinated by them. Why didn't SHE get wings? They looked like they'd be so much fun! She had Cheshire, true, but he couldn't help her to fly.
"I suppose..." Adalia couldn't help but smile at Kali's expression, though she shook her head slightly. "He seems so oblivious though." Those things all seemed a little harsh, when she thought about Devlin. He wasn't CREEPY or anything, just...very determined. He'd just chosen the wrong girl to try to charm; it was hard for a guy to get a girl who was afraid of men, after all.

Luka giggled and fluttered his wings as Alice admired them, beaming over at her. His wings were nice. But no, he didn't know how she could get any. He had just had them forever. "Lu..?" What if he just didn't fly during the game?
"You'd have to be pretty oblivious to miss being turned into a frog. Is he really that dumb?" She didn't seem to believe Adalia. "Addy, you know if he's really bothering you, you can go talk to someone. Right?" She didn't want anything to happen.

Alice seemed to pout a little - there wasn't a way for her to get any pretty wings? Oh, but she liked them so much! They were so pretty and they felt so soft! "Lice, ali!" They could definitely play if he didn't fly - that way, Alice wouldn't have such a hard time! "Lice!"
"Well...he's PRETTY bad..." Honestly, Adalia had never met someone quite so dense before! Most guys would take a hint after a few times, but not Devlin. He just didn't seem to get it. "I know, Kali." The dark-skinned girl gave her friend a grateful smile and nodded slightly. "You know I will." She wouldn't let things get that bad - she never would. She didn't want to be stuck in a situation similar to that of what she'd been in before. Never again did she want to go through that again.

Kali nodded. "Good. Because Uncle Viktor wouldn't be afraid to dump his a** in a melting pot and call it a factory accident." She said, sipping her cocoa with a cruel and haughty smile.
"Alice and Luka seem to be getting along...That's good." She smiled. "He's never behaved this long before." Yes, it was a strange change of subject from what they HAD been talking about, but that was alright. She wanted to leave that behind them.
Luka smiled before taking one tentative step. His legs felt shaky, strange, and foreign. He didn't like it. He wanted to fly. But, he'd said he wouldn't. So, he took another shaky step... And promptly fell flat on his face. What was wrong with his legs?! Why wouldn't they work?? That just wasn't fair...

Adalia giggled a bit, unsure if she should be worried for Devlin - she knew just how scary Kali's uncle could be. "I know. I'll keep that in mind." The dark-skinned girl looked over and smiled, nodding a little. "I'm glad that they do. Alice hasn't gotten the chance to play like this in a while." She loved the little shadow, but it was hard finding the time to play with her when she had to juggle school AND a job. "Really? Well, maybe she'll be good for him then."
"Lice?" Alice scurried over to Luka and helped the other shadow to his feet, holding onto his hands so that he wouldn't fall over. "Lice!" Could Luka really not walk? Well, she'd just have to help him with that then! "Ali, lice li!" It wouldn't be that hard - she'd make sure that he had the hang of it in no time!

Kali smiled, and nodded at Adalia. "Yeah. Maybe we could arrange more play dates? I'm sure Alice would adore Katia, and it would be good for Luka to see how normal and well behaved shadows act." Not that she knew what was normal for a Shadow; they seemed to be a strange bunch, really. But out of them all, Alice was the nicest that she'd met, and she really did like the small girl.
Luka gripped Alice's hands firmly, lurching and wobbling as he tried to toddle forward after her. He couldn't, however, manage it. His feet got tangled and twisted in each other and with a little yelp, he fell, pulling Alice down with him. He hit the ground with a small whump, and as he collected himself, his lip started to wobble. He hated walking. Walking was stupid!

"That sounds like a great idea." Adalia said as she watched Alice attempt to help Luka with the whole walking thing. She looked back to Kali and smiled. "Maybe we could bring them to the park sometime...? Alice likes it there, and it would give them all plenty of space to play." She didn't know of many children who DIDN'T like the park, really. She couldn't imagine that Luka would be able to do too much damage out there either.
"Lice!" Alice yelped as she as she tumbled to the floor after Luka. The little shadow girl shook her head and sat up again, chirping at her new friend. Was walking really that difficult for him? Perhaps it would be alright to let him fly for the game though. "Ali, lili, lice li!" But only if he promised to stay low enough so that she'd be able to catch him! It was only fair!
