Since the lists are long and there's quite a few collectibles, each post will be a different list of collectibles.

Silver & Gold Key Guide

Aurora (2 Silver Keys)
-Just to the right of the large shrine at the back of the city is a path that leads up. It will take you up to a portion where you can continuously vault onto lower roofs until you find a silver key.
-From the Demon Door, head left up the hill, then right when you get the chance to find this key.

Bowerstone Castle (2 Silver Keys)
-(Catacombs) Take the left branch of the path soon after entering the underground tunnels. Attainable soon after the game begins.
-Coming from the castle into the gardens, head all the way down and to the left. This key is behind the statue.

Bowerstone Industrial (4 Silver Keys)
-(Cesspools) Soon after you dive into the water you’ll spot a wooden barricade on the wall to your left. Bust it down with your weapon and find a key on the other side.
-Near the entrance from Mourningwood, there is a large factory. Inside, on the second level, a key is waiting. Work the levers to reach it.
-(Sewers) You must have accepted the “One Ring to Find Quest.” Under the crane in Bowerstone Industrial there is a door leading to the sewers. Once inside, turn right and continue on until you see this key.
-Once you become King/Queen, return to the multi-level warehouse you ran through with Ben Finn during the revolution. On the second level, you’ll see this key.

Bowerstone Market (3 Silver Keys)
-Coming from the Bowerstone Castle entrance to the Market, enter the very first house on the right. You’ll find the key out back.
-This key is behind the fish stands, down the stairs on the side of Bowerstone Market that leads to Millfields.
-(Hideout) You can access this area late in the game. On your way down through the hideout, look out for a door to the right of the glowing trail. Opening it will lead you down into an area where you’ll spot this key inside a cell.

Bowerstone Old Quarter (2 Silver Keys)
-Coming from the lake area, head left along the city wall until you reach this key.
-Turn down the left street after passing the vendors and after climbing some shallow steps you’ll see the Nightshade House here. Inside on the second floor lies a silver key.

Brightwall (5 Silver Keys)
-Follow the wall to the left of the library entrance and you’ll see this key hiding among some rocks.
-Just behind Bernard’s house (the one with the chicken coop) you’ll find a silver key.
-Just outside the village there is a small property called the Spurious Nuttock. Take the nearby stairs to get under the bridge and find this key.
-(The Reliquary) In the area near the skeleton, use your fireballs to light all of the un-lit torches. Doing so will open a secret door that leads to a chest & a key.
-(The Reliquary) After you nab the key listed above, make sure to go right instead of straight at the junction. You’ll eventually reach an area to your right with a switch. Flipping it will spawn some hollow men. After defeating them, you’ll see a staircase appear across the room.

Driftwood (2 Silver Keys, 1 Gold Key)
-As you make your way to the hobbe camp on the leftmost island, you’ll come upon this area where you must leap off the ledge to grab a silver key. It’s on the left part of the island.
On the large center island there is a small cave. Go inside to find this key.
--Once you’ve competed “An Island Getaway,” “Pest Control,” “Gift Wood for Driftwood,” and “An Island Getaway,” come back to Driftwood. If you’ve waited long enough (just complete an odd quest or two) there should now be bridges connecting the islands of Driftwood. There is a flit switch on the rightmost island that is now accessible. Hit it and follow it around Driftwood. You won’t be able to get to it at all of the different spots unless you completed all four of the quests above.

Dweller Camp (1 Silver Key)
-Enter through the double doors and turn right to find the silver key. You won’t be able to access this area the first couple of times you visit the Dweller Camp, as the doors will be shut.

Mercenary Camp (1 Silver Key)
-Under the structure, near where the dogs come out of their cages to attack you.

Millfields (7 Silver Keys)
-If you turn right coming out of Pepperpot cave and follow the path you’ll come upon a fence. Hop over, and climb the hill. You’ll find a large building, and around the side is this key.
-From the lake, take the path up the hill that leads to The Hole and Pepperpot Cave. You’ll soon be able to venture off the path to the right and find the key perched here.
-Across the main path from the area where you found the second key, you’ll be able to traverse the terrain and see a key in the pond. It is just below the telescope statue.
-(Reaver’s Manor) When you accept the “Reaver’s Unmentionables” quest, you’ll eventually wind up in the secret bedroom. The key is behind the bed.
-(Pepperpot Caves) Swim across the pond in this cave to reach a silver key.
-(Dankwater Cavern) You’ll need to have “beaten” the game before you can access the “Hobnobbing with Hobbes” quest which unlocks the Dankwater Caverns. Beat the quest and return to the area after a bit to have full access. Near the hobbe camp, enter the water and hug the rocks to the right as you swim. This path will take you to some land. Walk up the shore a bit and find this key.
-(Dankwater Cavern) As you continue through the cavern, you'll see a narrow path leading up and to the right. Hobbe’s will probably flood down this path at you. Go up here to nab the silver key.

Mistpeak Valley (6 Silver Keys, 1 Gold Key)
-Behind a stack of logs near the entrance point to the Merc Camp.
-Coming from the Monorail Station, turn left and follow the path up the hill to find this key.
-(Chillbreath Caverns) You need to enter the caverns from the area accessible by crossing the small bridge overlooking the Mistpeak Valley Demon Door. Once inside, follow the path a ways to find this key. It’s right near the missing child.
-(The Hole) Behind this rack of barrels, near the technician’s gate.
-(The Hole[i]The Hole[i/]) Open the technician’s gate and follow the path all the way to where you see this key on some rocks overlooking the arena.
-(The Hole) You’ll have to enter The Hole from Millfields to find this key on the monorail platform.
--At the signpost on the path to Brightwall Village, hang a left. You’re going the right way if you pass a treasure chest on your right. Your goal is to pass through the Chillbreath Caverns. The caverns can be confusing, but if you make it a point to keep moving uphill you’ll eventually reach the exit leading out to the golden key.

Mourningwood (4 Silver Keys)
-In the area where you fire the mortar, check the upper right section for a portion that you can blow away by shooting a barrel. Once you do, you can access the key.
-You may have spotted this key from the Mourningwood settlement, but unfortunately you can only reach it by going the long way ‘round, through the trenches. Stick to the left while doing so and you’ll come across this key just beyond a treasure chest.
-(The Ossuary) You must have first completed “Bored to Death” and “Gone But Not Forgotten” before you have access to the Ossuary. Once you enter the area, turn left, climb the stairs, then vault down to the area with the silver key.
-(The Ossuary) When you enter the Ossuary, one of the tombs on the right will be open.

Shifting Sands (5 Silver Keys, 1 Gold Key)
-If you hug the wall to your right as you come from the entrance to Sandfall Palace, you’ll inevitably see this key. You’ll have passed a flower and a gnome along the way.
-If you’re coming from the Auroran half of the area into the Shadelight half (the halves are separated by that giant arch you pass under) immediately turn left and hug the wall to find this key.
-Not far from the entrance to Shadelight, you’ll notice this structure sticking out of the sand in the middle of the desert. Underneath lies a silver key.
-(Sandfall Palace) Before you reach the steps, you’ll notice a big locked door on your left. You can open this if you shoot the flit switch that's high above it. Once inside grab the key.
-(Sandfall Palace) To the left of the pedestal from which you took the legendary diamond.
--(Crossroads of Passing) Once you’ve beaten the game, find the man near the tattooist in Aurora who has the Ancient Key for sale (aka the “Key to a Greater Key” quest). Purchase it to unlock the Crossroads of Passing, which is that door at the northwestern portion of the Shifting Sands that you may have noticed before. Once inside, solve the puzzle to reach the gold key.

Silverpines (2 Silver Keys)
-Coming from Millfields, you’ll eventually reach a path by the village. Take the fork to the left and follow the trail up to the silver key.
-Inside the mine at the center of the settlement.

Sunset House (2 Silver Keys)
-To the left of the Sunset House Demon Door.
-If you exit the golden door and turn right, you can wrap around the path uphill to find this silver key not too far away.

The Veiled Path (2 Silver Keys, 1 Gold Key)
-At the end of the Veiled Path, on your right near a green flower.
-(The Enigma) Inside the third room, right in the middle.
--(The Enigma) You’ll need to step on the colored circular platforms in an order identical to the colored flames you see in front of you (from left to right). If you’re really lazy, the combination is yellow, blue, yellow, red, blue, red, blue, red.

Gnome Locations

Aurora (2 Gnomes)
-From the dock, follow the beach to the left. This gnome is high up on the wall.
-From the Shifting Sands entrance to Aurora, hang a left and take the path until you pass under an arch. On the other side is this gnome.

Bowerstone Castle (3 Gnomes)
-In the castle’s kitchen.
-In the lower part of the gardens you’ll find this gnome hogging the birdbath.
-(Catacombs) As soon as you enter the huge cavern, turn right and round the corner to find this gnome on the column. You can only get him after you become King/Queen.

Brightwall Village (5 Gnomes)
-The first gnome is pointed out to you in the “Gnomes Are Evil” quest.
-Out behind the property known as Bumbler’s Gruff, this Gnome is high on the rocks.
-Resting on the House of Slats’s (furniture store) chimney.
-(The Reliqaury) After crossing over the floating platforms, run around the right side of the structure in front of you to find this gnome.
-(The Reliquary) After diving into the water, you’ll eventually come upon a huge room. When you climb up the small set of stairs just before the area where you lit the torches for that silver key, you’ll see this gnome to the right.

Dweller Camp (1 Gnome)
-On the winding path leading to the overlook.

Mistpeak Valley (7 Gnomes)
-At the top of the frozen waterfall, underneath a small bridge near the Brightwall Village entrance. It’s spitting distance from the Demon Door.
-Coming from the Monorail Station, turn left and head up the path. This gnome right next to the silver key.
-High in the mountains near the Dweller Camp entrance you’ll come upon a camp. This gnome is laying low as pictured.
-(Chillbreath Caverns) Near the broken bridge at the lowest point of the area.
-(Chillbreath Caverns) If you enter the caverns by taking the small bridge that overlooks the demon door, this Gnome is just inside hanging from some stalactites.
-(The Hole) Behind the wrecked monorail car.
-(The Hole) Once inside the arena, look up here to find Mistpeak Valley’s final gnome.

Mercenary Camp (1 Gnome)
-On top of this water tower near the back of the camp where the path does a 180.

Bowerstone Market (3 Gnomes)
-In one of the towers atop the city wall.
-On the wall near the steps leading up to the city wall (near the Bowerstone Industrial exit).
-Enter the house next door to the pub (on the left if you face the pub). This gnome is on the back of that house.

Millfield (5 Gnomes)
-Run left of the entrance to Pepperpot cave and you’ll find this gnome among some trees.
-Coming off the long dock that leads into the lake, turn right and you’ll see the gnome hanging up there.
-Hanging out at Reaver’s Mansion.
-(Dankwater Cavern) You’ll need to have “beaten” the game before you can access the “Hobnobbing with Hobbes” quest which unlocks the Dankwater Caverns. Once inside, follow the path leading to the right and look out at the waterfall to find this gnome.
-Just beyond the area where you shot the gnome listed above, listen for another one to the right as you move forward. He’s there. The game may get glitchy at this point as your bullets may just pass through the gnome, but keep trying from different angles and distances if you experience similar issues and you’ll eventually get him.

Bowerstone Old Quarter (2 Gnomes)
-Right from the fast travel spawn point (near the walled entrance from the lake), turn and look between these two houses.
-Just north of the markets, take the street to the left and you’ll find this gnome above the yard between two houses.

Silverpines (2 Gnomes)
-In the settlement, near the entrance to the mine.
-Just behind the cemetery’s lone crypt is a path leading up to wooden tower.

Bowerstone Industrial (5 Gnomes)
-(Cesspools) There aren’t many places to get off the beaten path down here. Just before you enter the last wide open cavern you’ll see this guy hanging out here.
-Coming from Bowerstone Market, this gnome is on the far side of the nearest bridge.
-Coming from Bowerstone Market, run along the canal to the last bridge and cross it. This gnome is just on the other side, hiding in this alley.
-This gnome is accessible after you’ve accepted the quest “Animal Liberation” and enter the pie factory. The gnome is inside one of the animal cages on the first floor of the factory.
-(Sewers) You must have accepted the “One Ring to Find Quest.” Under the crane in Bowerstone Industrial there is a door leading to the sewers. Once inside, turn left and you’ll see a hole in the wall leading into room. In this room on the ceiling is the gnome.

Driftwood (2 Gnomes)
-There is a path leading off the beach area. Follow this a bit to find one of the gnomes.
-From the large center island, swim out to the north. There is a very small island where you’ll find this gnome chillin’ on a rock.

Mourningwood (3 Gnomes)
-Coming from Bowerstone Industrial, look to your immediate left.
-If you came from The Hole, pass through the fort and stick to the right. When you hit the large graveyard, double back to your left and up a small hill to find this gnome.
-(The Ossuary) You must have first completed “Bored to Death” and started “Gone But Not Forgotten” before you have access to the Ossuary. Follow the quest trail and you’ll eventually come upon a treasure chest at the end of a row of 5 tombs (it’s close to that central tree). Between two of the tombs is this gnome.

The Shifting Sands (4 Gnomes)
-Coming from Aurora, this gnome is on the pillar just to your left.
-Very close to the entrance to the Sandfall Palace, up here.
-If you stick to the right after exiting Sandfall Palace, you’ll eventually come across the gnome high up on the left. He’s just past the purple Auroran Flower.
-(Sandfall Palace) This gnome stares you in the face as you make your way through the second large room.

Sunset House (1 Gnome)
-This gnome is on the right side of the mansion among some rocks.

The Veiled Path (4 Gnomes)

-Directly above an orange Auroran flower, in the area where you start to fight Sentinels.
-On top of a pillar to your right as you climb the long set of stairs.
-(The Enigma) In the room on the left, the one you need to light the torch in order to enter, there will be a smaller room at the back where enemies come out of. This gnome is hiding in there.

(Note: All of this presumes you have already unlocked Driftwood, completed Giftwood for Driftwood, etc.)

Rare Book #15: Dweller Camp

Rare Book #23: Sandfall Palace (Shifting Sands)
Name: Dangerous Things: Ladders
Location: Cross the bridge over the first section of water and take the small flight of stairs (heading down towards the sand) on your immediate right. The book is located on the left hand side railing, near some trees on the small beach.

Rare Book #24: Silverpines
Name: The Very Unsafe Book for Boys, Vol. 3: Boxing
