Pengy737 Musci Video of PotO, Before the Musical OpenedThis is one of the most terrifying and hilarious things ever created. And make sure to stay until the end. The ending thirty seconds tops the horror that that past four minutes provided. I still can't decide which is worse, Erik's mask or Raoul's hair. Or Steve Harley's voice. 0_-

Haha
This forum just made my day.
Antonio Banderas is awesome!!! He makes such a good Che and his Phantom came as a great surprise. (I've yet to meet anyone else who likes the movie musical of Evita though :/)
The second one... well, I luv Emmy Rossum. heart 'Nuff said.
And FINALLY, I never thought of looking for the Tony video on YouTube. How silly of me. That REALLY made my day.

The second video was so sweet. x3 Emmy looked so pretty, but Patrick cut his hair! DDDx Damn. Maybe it was just unmanageable. The other two didn't work... and it's just as well. Antonio Banderas kinda scares me. (He was sorta good in Evita, but I liked the London original cast recording much better.)

Patrick= YAY!!!! Emmy= NAY!
Patrick is amazing, he should have played as the Phantom, not silly Gerik.
I felt an akward silence at the end of that song.

ColorMyPencils It's artistic license. She raised the role an octave and had a man from a different band sing it with her (I forget who). Nightwish is generally Operatic Rock, which is not a surprise since it's a Finnish band, where most of those types come from. Opera's an acquired taste. PotO is an acquired taste. EVERYTHING is an acquired taste. Nah, that's Marco, the bassist, singing Phantom's part. You're thinking of when they did "Beauty and the Beast" live and had Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica do the male vocals. (I still kick myself for missing that tour.) [/suuuuuuuuper late response] xd

Doesn't matter that the thread's three years old wink (I would have loved to see that tour too...or to see the original Broadway cast of PotO...why do all the cool things happen when I am too young to appreciate them?!!) It seems that the video in my last post is no longer available. That's a shame. I've completely forgotten what it was.
