A flash of distorted space, a thunderclap of mingling darkness and light and pure mana given physical presence, followed by the surrounding air pressure both thickening as well as shifting, causing great discomfort to any in the surroundings. Stepping forth as though stepping into a room, stands a man in a tight black suit, his crimson sunglasses and white hair doing nothing to keep him from standing out in the rice paddy he had accidentally walked into. Lighting a cigarette, Sante Vahan Thyme III walked out of the irrigation and onto the road, sending a pulsation of pure red mana into his legs and feet, drying them and breaking away any of the muddy gunk.
"Hmm...so where am I now...?"

on the far side of the farm, a man in a wide-brimmed hat was working the drowned field. he was wearing blue jeans rolled up to his knees, and a button-up shirt made of cotton. dark circular shades covered his eyes, and his long brown hair was in a ponytail. he kept his beard short.
the most obvious detail, however, was a belt buckle with a large Lapiz Lazuli set in it.

The man, Sante, looked about and seemed to have a slight panic-moment and began to do what appeared at first to be some sort of strange dance, but the object falling from the skies said otherwise as it crashed onto the road with a loud and somewhat satisfying thunk, hiding the object in a cloud of dust. Once the dust had settled, the object appeared to be a black iron coffin with silver filigree decorations and white gold chains to keep it closed.
"You always were one for dramatics, Legion. Now come on," He told the coffin as he picked it up by one of the chains and held it to his back. "We must be on our w...wait...where am I?"
Noticing the man standing by the road, he arched a brow. "Can you tell me where I am, stranger?"

the farmer stopped what he was doing, stood up straight, and looked out towards the strange man who had just arrived. he seemed to only just now notice his presence.
in the blink of an eye he stood only a yard away from Sante. he gazed at Sante for a few long moments, or leastways he seemed to. it was hard to tell with the shades covering his eyes. then he put a cigar in his mouth and lit it.
"dunno." he said, gruffly, smoke erupting from his mouth as he spoke, then he grinned widely. "I just stepped here by accident. so, I decided to cozy around a while."
he looked up to the sky now, gazing at the clouds. his full attention seemed to be on them.

Blinking, Sante shrugged and walked past the farmer, his coffin seeming to radiate a sort of visible darkness as he moved past the man.
"Well then, maybe I'll find someone who does know. Maybe a sweet little something female? A little vixen with some intellect about her, mayhaps..."
Smiling, Sante's hair began to shift from white to gray, his clothes from black to ash gray and his grin severely more feral.
"Maybe I'll get to break a heart or two. At the very least some legs..."

"this place... is different than the others..." the farmer said, as though he hadn't heard what the newcoming man had said.
"might I come along them?" he said, suddenly snapping back to attention. "we could find out together where we are."
