How many years have gone by since I was in this hell hole I thought and knew as a life? How many times have I fought and won against my Weapons Master? Against how many houses have I fought to keep our own in place, and only once to have lost to the Do'Urdens?
All of those questions I had answered on the day I decided to leave what I knew as home, as the dreaded UnderDark. Never again will I look back and be under a Deity I did not take in as my own. I had glimpsed Livian a few days before I left, and had not said a word to her after she was taken in by the Do'Urdens, I only wanted out and thought of myself. My life was going well until I saw my first sunrise and withstood my first winter.
7 years after that...dealing with the weather changes to where I started to travel I found myself in danger. I was captured by humans. Awful little short spanned creatures I realize, but they blinded me with light I had never known of all my days on the Surface. They bound me, and took me to a facility and operated on me, wanted to bend my will to thiers for some war. Something I had no interest in, but was forced seeing as they took my weapons even though they had no magic left to them
Apparently their science failed and my body started to die, but they saved my brain and heart and soul for a moment then somehow transferred it all into the body of a Griffin. How did I know that? They told me before I shocked them all with my powerful mind speech and fled there that day and took to a forest....a forest where my sister found me and her gargoyle companion. Frustrated and still not knowing who I was and what I was for I struck them both down and realized at the last moment then flew with her in my arms to save her.
After her being saved, we found this place....and so plan to stay for as long as possible.
