The machines hover above the track, but the ride is rarely a smooth one. In the televised races, there are insane obstacles, incredible difficulty and some of the fieriest demises.
The blazers that are raced in are sleek in design and are as fast as it gets. The teams that take care of them have four main members. The pilot, co-pilot, navigator and mechanic. Many include a doctor or a team member usually doubles. Races are taken more seriously than government elections for more than a few people.

One of the planets that was colonized a few hundred years back is dedicated solely to tracks for races. The quick changing climate has desert strips next to forests that boarder arctic temperatures.
