Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

It's the month of December! That certain time of year when gijinka all over feel the spirit of the season, give and love and be loved. Spend the holiday with your loved ones or be a Scrooge, either way, you've decided to go to the mall! Either to buy gifts for loved ones, or for yourself, or whatever the case may be.

Decorations are everywhere, holly, fake snow, a jolly old saint nick for the kids, and a giant lit up Christmas tree. It is all very lovely, but outside the snow is falling and falling hard. Before you know it there is an announcement over the intercom of the mall telling you all to stay calm.
"We've been snowed in, it is not advisable to try to leave at this time. You will be waist deep in snow and what's worse, the roads are frozen ice. The mall will be closing, no one is advised to leave, I repeat, no one is advised to leave."

Of course if someone is caught out in the snow they are kindly let in to warm themselves and hide out from what is becoming a very white Christmas.

---------------->Dresden was browsing among the many shops that the large shopping mall had to offer. The musician already held a few bags on his arm and was now perusing the band t-shirts that Hot Topic had to offer, able to quickly scan the names mentally marking off the bands that just plain sucked. The mismagius was usually kind a gentle with his opinions but when it came to music he had a specific taste and high standards and was willing to voice that. To him, Hot Topic had been on a downhill slope lately, their walls becoming home to the names of men and women that couldn't even play their instruments. And their it was, the inevitable, anything popular gets slung up on that wall, "Death Dolls", their t shirts and hoodies lay mixed in with bands such as Paramore and Boys Like Girls. He scrunched up his nose, 'Crap.', he mentally lovingly referred to the bands.

Though, there were bands up on that wall that he enjoyed and respected and to those he wore a smile. Upon coming across one from a good band that he knew his friend didn't own, he was pleased and snatch up a small. Now you'd probably wonder why the rock star wasn't being mauled by fans in a place where his music and merch was sold - well the mismagius had thought ahead, with big sunglasses on, and his dreads down and tucked beneath a scarf, wearing just a long sleeve black band shirt and some jeans (his coat safely tucked into one of his bags) he passed himself off as nothing more than a Death Dolls mega-fan. He offered small smiles to any odd glance he received, an assurance to them that he couldn't possibly be Dresden.

He purchased the shirt and then went on his merry way, out of the store and back into the rest of the mall, a place where he was much less likely to catch any notice. They weren't too terribly well known outside of their area of music, and that worked well for them. It made them more money than they could need, and their fan-base was more loyal than some of the quickly passing pop stars of the day. Once he'd finished with that store, he made his way to the escalator to go to the first floor of the mall, deciding that it was time for a bite to eat.

He was carrying his cat. Yes, cat. Now at first he was just going to leave Keeno at his apartment, not wanting to take her out into the growing snow fall and cold weather. But, she insisted, adamantly. She'd weaved around his feet with a practiced ease, tail curling, purring loudly, eying him with that 'I know you're going to take me with you' look. And, finally, he just caved. How could he say no to her pleas? To that look? That adorable look? He couldn't. If there was anything in the world that all three of his personalities loved, had all three on a hook, it was their Siamese cat Keeno. She was practically a mastermind at this point. Not even a woman could match that cat's perfectly timed and played moves to get him to do what she wanted, he always caved. Gave her a snack, give her some milk, pet her, take her out, he was at her mercy. Yes. A cat, or would one say, the cat, as far as Thio was concerned, anyway.

The Dodrio had originally been stopped near the entrance, some security guard 'getting in his face', as one personality had put it, about bringing a cat into the mall. But, unfortunately only those close to Thio or had had a run in with him knew how he could get sometimes, and that security guard was told off faster than you could say 'uh-oh'. So, here he was, browsing the first floor with Keeno scooped up and nestled comfortably in his arms, cradled almost like small child. Well, in all sense of the word she was his child. He'd found her as a kitten and she stuck around, over time the two became practically inseparable.

"I wonder if this place has any good food," he said quietly to himself, the only response to it being a 'meow' from Keeno. "But you ate before we left," he said again, giving a glance only to be met by that adorable face, "..Alright, alright," he finally said with a light resigned sigh, making a turn to head for the food court, ignoring the many strange stares he was getting, "But just one."

Just another day of dodging the papparazzi, just another day she was dreading even more than the last. It was supposed to be the holidays, so why couldn't she have a break? Heaving a heavy sigh, clouding as it rose in the cold air & dissipated, Libess nervously watched at her sides while in quick pursuit of the mall. Having left her baby back at home she ended up taking a taxi instead to avoid getting caught, she remained hidden beneath he pink ribboned scarf until she reached the inside of the mall where she took quick glances to check her safety. Of course it wasn't that safe, there were potential fans all around, but what she was really looking out for were any stray papparazzi. Spotting none she sighed in relief, placing a hand on her chest where her heart rested deep within. Atleast she could let down her gaurd a bit more. It was easier to trick any other human, it just wasn't so easy if papparazzi were around cause they could spot a famous fly a mile away. It was like thir sixth sense or something.

Glancing around again as she let her hand fall back to her side, the sound of chattering filled the place, each voice covering anothers making it that much difficult for one another to hear each other. Thankfully Libess wasn't speaking to anyone so instead she looked for her next destination. It was a bit questionable why she even came, it wasn't like she had any friends to buy gifts for. Not even HoshiGO! were that close to her. Oddly enough here she was for reasons unknown, maybe to buy a gift for herself, as selfish as it seemed but who else was there after all? It wasn't like she didn't have anything she wanted though, she had everything... well... almost anything, but there were things even money couldn't buy. Mentally shrugging to herself she started for the food court, her stomach was rumbling once her nose had caught scent of the foods wafting around. From there she planned to go to... the spa maybe? She was sure there was a small one here, or maybe it was a different mall she was thinking of... Regardless, again shrugging to herself she eyed the assortment of mini restaraunts & fast food counters stopping on a healthier looking choice. As enticing as all that other grease food smelled, she was more determined to keep her weight under control. It wasn't an easy thing after all. It took her little to no time at all before she headed for a table with a fruit salad & a little treat she had a hard time saying no to. Just a bit of white hot chocolate, it was a rare thing after all.

The spunky rockstar was making his way through the crowds of the mall. He was actually in a great mood, though slightly under the influence. Of course, that could be why he was in a good mood altogether. He was deep in thought, trying to think of the best gift for that man who had been plaguing his thoughts since Halloween. He sighed, he didn't really know him well enough to know what kind of gift he'd like. Salem entered a few different stores, still not sure what would be a good christmas gift for the vulpix.

Salem was ready to give up when he came upon an odd little jewelry store. They had some very odd pieces, some with a very gothic feel. He had a feeling he would be able to find the perfect item in this store. He browsed for a while before something under the glass display caught his eye. It was a silver banded ring with a smooth black stone in it. The stone was encircled by little skull decorations. The price tag wasn't overly hefty for the rockstar, sixty dollars. He quickly bought it up and walked out of the store with it in a small black bag.

Then he headed to the food court, in hopes of finally running into Dresden, the whole reason why he'd come here to begin with. As luck would have it, he spotted him boarding the escalator. He snuck up behind the other purple haired man and dug his bony fingers into his hips, giving him a little tickle. "Hey there," he chimed and let out a little laugh.

---------------->Dresden was just about to board the escalator when suddenly he felt fingertips and his side. He jumped, nearly loosing his balance and nearly falling onto the moving steps that he had been ready to ride down to the food court. He turned around with a bit of surprise but calmed when he saw the culprit, "Salem!" he gave the petite male a playful shove back, "Don't do that." he said with a short bit of laughter before finally boarding the escalator he'd been attempting to board earlier. He gave a quick look back to see that the sableye was following close behind.

"So where have you been?" he asked with the small smile still lingering from his earlier laughs. "I was getting in some Christmas shopping without you." the mismagius declared as he lifted up an arm that held the few bags he'd managed to gather in the time that he had been waiting for the sableye to show up.

Dresden was glad to be back into the life that he'd come to love - despite his persistent pessimism. He was even more happy about the upcoming holiday, and the fact that with the 'wages' the rock star's made they could very well buy everyone they cared for gifts without financial strain. The mismagius wasn't usually a big spender, he had things that he felt he needed and a few things that he just wanted but he didn't lead a flashy lifestyle. It wasn't material possessions that really caught the guitarists eye. As the escalator reached the bottom, he stepped off and it was then just a few steps into the food court, where he began to look around - deciding on where to have lunch.

Suddenly though, an announcement come over the shopping malls intercom system that got the mismagius's red eyes staring up to the ceiling.

"We've been snowed in, it is not advisable to try to leave at this time. You will be waist deep in snow and what's worse, the roads are frozen ice. The mall will be closing, no one is advised to leave, I repeat, no one is advised to leave."

Just as she was ready to pop the last of her fruit salad into her mouth, an announcement stopped her, causing her eyes to cast up towards the source of it. What they said though, made her stomach twist. What for? Well... Now she was stuck in the mall with a whole bunch of potential fans that could bombard her at any moment. Hopefully though... They'll be too distracted by this announcement to take notice of her, atleast for now anyway. Frowning, perplexed over this new news, Libess set her utensil down leaving the last bite of her meal to sit & her half filled cup of hot chocolate to grow cold. She didn't have much of appetite anymore.

Sighing heavily she pushed herself up from the table she sat at, closing her eyes momentarily in disbelief of the situation she was in now, & turned to wander of somewhere else in hopes she wouldn't get recognized during the slight panic in everyone but was stopped short by an object or person she'd bumped into making her stumble back. Startled by it she gasped & briefly looked up to see she had cumsily bumped into a guy with a cat, a bit of a intimidating look was worn on the Dodrio's face, or atleast that's all she could see from the quick glance. "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Libess apologized, keeping her face casted a bit downward as to prevent him from really seeing it in case he was secretly a fan. It was annoying the measures she had to take. Even more so quite lonely since most people either disliked her for her show or was over affectionate & obsessive, even sometimes... very disturbing. It was enough to want to make her break her contract & quit her job, the only thing that really kept he coming back for the show was the money she needed since her back up had gotten a bit low ever since... well... Seth had been around...

He'd finally managed to grab some food, though a bit more than he was originally planning on, two slices of pepperoni pizza for himself and another slice with 'everything on it' for the Siamese now lazily perched on his shoulder, since his hands were now occupied with the tray of food. Thio was on his way to a table when he heard the announcement, pausing in his tracks and glancing up like most people did, listening to what it had to say. Honestly, he didn't have any plans past his little bit of wandering around, so the fact that he was now 'snowed in' didn't phase him much, though his boss wouldn't be too happy if he showed up later than usual the next day. But, well, when you can't help it, you can't help it. It's not like he could tell the sky, clouds and weather to stop snowing and causing a storm just so he could get to work the next day.

Thio gave a faint sigh and was about to carry on his way when he felt a sudden bump to his side, automatically lifting the tray of food a bit higher with both hands to keep it from falling anywhere. Knowing his personalities as he did, a certain one would be none too pleased to have his food end up all over the floor, and the Dodrio didn't want to start a commotion. He heard a voice that sounded vaguely familiar, glancing down below the raised tray to catch sight of a batch of pink.
"No, it's my fault, I wasn't looking where I stopped, not that that's much of a surprise," he replied in a bit of a gloomy tone, trailing off towards the end to a mumble, expression briefly matching it. He took a step back and lowered his tray of food, double checking to see if his cat was till balanced on his shoulders before returning his attention to the shorter woman in pink. He didn't say anything for a few moments, just stared at her face. It probably looked a bit strange from the outside, but inside there was a bit of a conversation going on.

'Wait, I know that woman,' said one, 'I doubt that. You don't remember anyone you sleep with, and if you do it's only because they tried to steal your money while they were at it. I've lost count of how many have succeeded. You make us even more broke than usual,'said another, 'Shut up-! That's not it! I know I've seen her somewhere before..If I could just-' said the first, 'Isn't she from that tv show you like to watch, she looks kinda like her,'' interrupted another, 'YES. HER. I admire her acting,' said the first, 'You certainly admire something of hers but it's not her acting,' said the third,'..Tch. Don't interrupt me.'

"I don't mean to pry," Thio finally said quietly, leaning down low enough towards the Blissey so that his words could only be heard by her, "but aren't you that 'spy' girl from that tv show?" he asked, his expression remaining casual, though Keeno was starting to paw at his hair impatiently.

A very soft, almost inaudible giggle left her lips at the males seemingly gloomy tone in his own apology, but rebounded with clearing her throat after realising that was a bit rude. Precautiously she glanced up again since the silence after was getting a bit unnerving making her look around for her next destination figuring maybe he jus didn't have anything left to say so it was safe to leave. Just as her blue eyes locked on a peculiar lolita looking shop her attention was brought back to the male she'd bumped into. Seemed her jig was up, there was only so long before she'd get caught, it was just unfortunate it had to happen so soon.

Mentally sighing to herself she facaded a bright smile actually facing the Dodrio for the first. "I'm sorry, I don't know what your talking about. You must have me confused with someone else." As bright as her tone seemed, it was only a fake, & even lying like this woulcn't last long without making her feel bad about it. It was quite the reoccuring feeling though... Not moments after Libess caved & sighed heavily, her body practically drooping in defeat. "Who am I kidding..." She whined looking back the male with a very worn down expression. "What do you want? An autograph?" As snobbish as it sounded, she was just sick & tired of the overwhelming fans with their silly requests for a autograph in strange places or a kiss which she usually respectfully turned down. Her hand waved out, as if holding an invisible silver platter only to fall back to her side.

He got as far as raising his eyebrows idly at her shortly lived attempt at lying which was soon recoiled with her defeated look. The Dodrio thought over her words, though one thought was quick to answer
'Yes~!' but after coming to the conclusion that he probably wouldn't be able to sell something so popular for very much, he resigned himself to declining, "Not in particular, I was only asking." 'What are you doing! I want her autograph, or at least a kiss, maybe even a date as payment for keeping her se-' one started, but Thio quickly gave the side of his head a light punch after balancing the tray onto one hand, silencing whatever idea he was about to finish voicing to the other two. 'What would we do with that anyway? It won't get us any money,' he thought, 'Not unless we made a scandal. Either way we might get lai-' , 'You do that enough, I don't want to hear it,' he cut off, 'Why must you two always argue, it causes stares when you don't act normal, not that that's out of the ordinary at this point..' added in the other.

Just as he'd returned his attention to the Blissey, he noticed the sharp pull on his hair, reaching over with his free hand to find fur.
"You shouldn't eat that," he said idly, glancing to the side but only catching sight of a tail, "it's not good for you, or me." Thio finally set the tray down onto the table the 'spy' was using, pulling out a chair a bit before casually taking a seat, reaching over to pry the Siamese from his hair and set her on the tabletop. "Only this one," he half mumbled, separating the pizza slices, "Would you like one?" he asked, glancing back up at the woman after a moment. "As appealing as a salad sounds, I'd think pizza would take the cake out of the two. Besides, it looks like no one's going anywhere for a while," he finished, lifting up his own slice before picking up the paper plate and sliding it across the table, leaving it in front of where the Blissey had been sitting. 'So you do want to sleep with-' one thought, 'Only you would have that thought on the brain constantly. Give it a rest,' he cut in again, taking a bite of pizza.

The one out of a billion fans & she got the nice one. If there was a God she believed she would've fallen to her knees & thanked them, if only that wouldn't draw attention to her. No, instead she perked up quite a bit, almost as if a weight had been relieved from her back & smiled to the male as a sort of 'Thank You' in silence. It didn't really occur to her there were probably other intentions he had in mind from getting from her instead of an autograph. But unfortunately she was still just a bit naive. Any perversion didn't really come to mind, which was usually what got her into trouble so much, or atleast that was before she became a movie star. The only trouble that ever brewed anymore was playing hide & seek from the papparazzi & fans. The silence broke in again making her think maybe it was okay to leave this time, & even thought so as the Dodrio spoke to his cat & walked the short distance to the table she'd been sitting at with her leftovers. Unsure she just stood there watching him until she realized he was talking to her now. "Oh, I..." I really shouldn't... It'll be a pain in the a** to burn that off... & the directors will have my head if I gain any weight... But... He seems nice & it'd be rude to decline... As she reasoned with herself, the guy gave her more reason to oblige to the idea. "Why not." She chimed finally taking the few steps back to her seat as the paper plate was slid her way.

After tucking her long wool coat beneath her, she took caution as she sat, knowing the slight chaos that was going on around them now. People calling home, calling friends, calling family, some sobbing, some ranting angrily. It was all that much louder than it had been just before the announcement only creating a headache from it. "So, stranger, I'm sure you know my name. Mind if I know yours?" As sexual as it could've sounded, they hardly sounded it in the way she said it, speaking in that almost annoying perkiness most couldn't stand. While she spoke the slice of pizza was slipped into her hand, ignoring the distasteful feel of grease, & took a bite while warily keeping her eyes open for a situation she'd need to try & flee from. It was never a good idea to let your guard down.

Salem smiled at his friend but his joy was cut off by an announcement coming through the mall speakers. A few people looked frightened, some apathetic. But Salem...Salem smiled. "This is going to be so fun!" he said gripping Dresden's arm. "We should sleep in Sears...on those tiny little beds!" he said, now stepping off the escalator. "Oh I hope we can still shop! I'm not done!" he cried waving his one little bag around.

He pulled Dresden along to the chinese place tucked away in the food court. After waiting in line behind a few people Salem scanned the selection. "I waaaaant...." he continued looking silently, the server seemed annoyed. "I want some of that stuff," he pointed generally at the food. After pointing at several thing the clerk finally stopped on the sesame chicken to a happy Salem.
