Joining a roleplay is fairly simple but there are a few steps when making a character.

1. Most roleplays will have a format that will ask you for many things kind of like this.

Username:
Name:
age:
appearance:
bio:

I will break each of these down so you get an idea of what is being asked of you.

username- this is normally asked when some one tells you to PM characters to them, what they want is you gaiaonline user name so people know what character belongs to who.

Name- The name of your character goes here.

Age- this is the age of your characters which changes with each character.

appearance- what your person looks like, this can be a picture used as a likeness or you can describe it in words.

Bio- This is the background story for your character so we know a bit about why they act the way they do.

2. Where do I put my characters profile?

Okay this is simple to understand, but it depends on the person running the roleplay. If they ask you to PM the information to them then usually that means they have set aside a location where your characters profile will be submitted. But some people just want you to post it in there roleplay and make a list such as that, read the persons rules to find this out most times.

3. What if I want to speak out of character (OOC)?

All you do in this situation is use parentheses such as the fallowing

(()) [[]] {{}}
