Okay, so I started this two days ago. And I haven't finished because I feel the face is slightly off.

I used charcoal pencils and a yellow/green/blue colored pencil.
I couldn't be bothered with the details of the clothing because I felt it was too dark in the original. And I kind of free-drew it.
I am not done with the hand, so yeah, please hold comments against that. sweatdrop

First off: Wow! Impressive pic. =D

As for inconsistencies...

There's more forehead in the original (it's taller) and the chin has more shading. The hair has highlights and is more defined around the cheek (falls in spikes). And the neck is more straight than you have it, though I don't think that's too important since yours still looks good. The eyebrow may be more arched in the original as well...There's also more a dip in that part between the nose and the upper lip. The lip is curved up a little too much. And the eye has lower lashes. And the beginning of the bridge of the nose should've been a bit lower to line up with the middle of the eye rather than the top of it.

The mood is a bit different. Yours looks sad and a little regretful whereas the original looks tortured.
Probably because they have more tense stiff lines (such as the neck, spikes of falling hair, down turned mouth, defined jaw, and arched brow) and the drastic lights and darks.

Ah, I see where I went wrong. I actually feel like fixing this up now but I don't have a desk lamp. >_<
I kind of want to re-draw it because Charcoal pencil is so hard to erase, and it leaves the marking.
