Maya snickered at the conversation. Time out? That must be when others misbehaved and their guardians did something to them. Deciding that she liked the sound of things (and trying very hard to memorize all these names) she nodded her head, as if she understood.
As if. Hah.
Flying must be cool though. And this boy... Hunter, was it? And the tail. Slightly distracted with the situation and deciding that the DVD store was definitely a lot more fun than her mother gave it credit for, she arranged some of the DVDs in neat piles next to her.
They were so different from her, and so alive. Wondering why she had never come across so many children her size before, she looked around with alert eyes.Well, Amy didn't seem to want to pull her away yet... and look! She was making friends!
((... and no real response. xD Please don't mind Maya. She's a bit distracted.)

Herion tilted his head to the side at Viktor, "Heri?" He might have seemed like a threat, but the big man interested the shadow. A lot like how Louie interested him. One could hope the man wasn't as mad as Louie.
"Herion!" Herion chripped in greeting to Viktor, bowing slightly and nearly falling when he did. Don't bow when flying, one lesson down at least. Eve had told him that being polite got you more cheese puffs than groundings though he didn't quite understand the expression.
Eve smiled at her, "I am glad he spoke of me, but yeah, Herion is his name. He is cute, but tends to be a little annoying when it comes to protecting me." She had also noticed Luka and was kinda glad Herion didn't prank. That was her job in the household.

Viktor's lips quirked into a smile as Herion gave him a clumsy bow, chuckling deep in his throat.
"Hello, Herion." He was more polite than Luka, at least. That definitely won the Shadow points with Viktor.
Luka spotted Viktor being friendly with Herion, and cast the other Shadow a look thet Kali would have been proud of. Why was Viktor nice to Herion and not him?! That wasn't fair!
Narrowing his eyes, he glowered at Herion. There was only one explanation; he, was the enemy.
Dimitri looked down at the little girl and chuckled, blanching a bit as he realized what kind of a mess he'd made. Crouching down, he began to hastily clean it up, stuffing it back on the shelves. He could do that, at least, before rushing off to find his father.
"Hey, may I see those please?" He asked Maya, pointing to her small pile of DVDs. "We have to put them away."

Herion smiled, glad that the giant of a man had smiled instead to look mad. Louie was scary enough and the vampire was shorter than Viktor by a few inches. "Heri!" He pointed toward Eve, trying to tell him that she was his host and had been the one that taught him to be polite when meeting people who could throw you into a wall.
Eve picked up several movies that she thought she would enjoy.
Damin, who had been looking through romances to watch realized that Eve was no longer near him nor was her shadow protector. He glanced around, "Eve? Where are you, little one?"

((... XD aaaaand simply because I want to be able to have one X on my list of growth requirements, I'm going to pull Maya and Amy out soon~!))
Amy looked over to where Maya seemed to be happy making new friends. It was the most unusual of circumstances to be sure, and while it could have proven to be dangerous for the young boy, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves... enough.
"Maya?" she called out, reaching for just any DVD now (she would have to find out more about what those creatures actually were, and if the dragon DVD was now gone forever) as she looked at the time. It wasn't too late, and while it wasn't doing any harm in hanging out at the DVD store for much longer, well... Maya was getting distracted herself, wasn't she?
Maya looked up at Amy's voice, craning her head and smiling as she waved her hand. So soon? Well... she had made friends. FRIENDS! All she had to do now was remember their names and hopefully nothing bad would come of it.
"Was nice to meet you." she recited: it was one of the first phrases Amy had tried to teach her to say completely. Something about a shopkeeper's daughter needing to have good manners. Brushing at her skirt, she looked at the three she had just met.
This store was just AWESOME.

Viktor nodded, smiling slightly at Herion. Eve must have been his host, which meant she had taught Herion.
"Very nice." He said, looking around. Dimitri was still missing, which was unlike him. He was apt to wander off, but he usually came back. Frowning, he turned, and began to walk down the aisle.
"Nice to meet you too, Maya." Dimitri smiled, waving a bit as he righted the mess he had made. Sighing, he turned, and decided to go find his father.
He found he didn't have to, as Viktor stepped around the corner.
"Dimitri. Hurry up and pick a movie. We're leaving soon." He said, beckoning his son over. The red head nodded, and hurried to his father, waving at the children that still stood around the rack.

With a sigh Exile left the children to their own devices. No need to hover over them. Still, he kept an ear cocked towards them just in case, as he went back to scanning through movies.
Riina frowned a little disappointed that she had left her ever-present sugar packets behind today. She had wanted to make something to give to her new friends. "It was nice meeting you too. I hope we meet again soon!" She waved to Maya. She turned and her face fell further as she realized Dimitri was leaving as well. All of her fun had come to an end to soon. "Bye Dimitri."
Hunter looked down at the mess and sighed, going through and trying to sort out what his sister had set on the shelf. He wished he knew a little more of his alphabet, but he did his best to put them in the right order. He looked up at the girl and smiled. "G'bye Maya. Nice meeting you." Reaching out he took his sisters hand. "Let's go look on the other side. 'kay?"
Riina nodded and moved around to where Viktor had come from. She still had to pick out a movie for herself.
