- The internet is a wide and scary place, connecting countries, organizations, and people across the globe. It is also the place most malware and anti-virus programs call home. Your program will spend almost all of its time flitting between websites, company networks, and its home server. And there is also the digital crossroads, the lawless space between websites where malware congregate and anti-virus programs are loathe to enter. Because of the magnitude of the virtual world, where you take your program is almost entirely up to your imagination: this is truly a place where if you can dream it, you can probably do it. But beware, there are places on the internet where not even mid-level malware would dare to tread.
For the sake of simplicity we will assume that today's popular websites are still in existence and have grown. Some suggested starting points and popular websites are listed below, as well as where you can and cannot go depending on what level and faction your program is.
- ••Some popular websites: Google, Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, GaiaOnline (hahahaha), Youtube
There are also large message boards devoted to malware production and anti-virus study
- ••If you are an anti-virus: You must begin you day at the CoreTech branch from which your program originates, because they must return there to receive updates.
- ••If you are a malware: You may begin your day anywhere you like, but keep in mind the level of your program will determine how far you can venture away from your creator's server.

- ••A warning to high-level malware: Most likely your antics will go unpunished or be dealt with by anti-virus programs who are on par with your skills. However, if you do something particularly nasty that attracts the attention of higher powers, you may very well find yourself face to face with Abraxas. And if that happens, it is best to run, because if you try to engage her, it will be game over for you.
