Ever Servant
Personally, I really like anime.

On the topic of entertainment, Jesus was criticized by the Pharisees for going to too many parties. (Hanging out with tax collectors and stuff.)

I like anime and manga...I don't see anything wrong with watching an anime with "gods" in it because we know that there is only one true God...That is as long as you don't let it influence your own beliefs...If it starts to make you think differently then you shouldn't watch them...

Of course there are some Anime/Manga I would avoid because of the inappropriate content in some of them (Yaoi and Yuri specifically)...I have only heard of what those are because of my friends, not because I read them...

Random question: What Anime do you like? I'm only asking because I like Anime too as I mentioned...lol

Oh my, my, my, my, my. Gross cultural ignorance and outstanding homophobia in the same post. These would be fantastic reminders of why I stopped being Christian, if I was in need of any.
I really have to wonder... Is learning about other religions a sin to you people? It sounds to me as though it may be, as worried as you are about exposing yourself to them or hearing them, to say nothing of how clear it is that none of you know thing one about either Shintoism or Buddhism, as those are the two most outstandingly common philosophies (or religions, if you must) in Japan and you seem to think that they're polytheistic (though you could argue that Shinto is, because there is a "god" in everything, but their definition of god is so incredibly different from the western that it's almost a silly argument, as different as they are in both power and function; none of them are meant to be worshiped).

I think you misunderstood what I was saying...I am not "homophobic", I have friends who are homosexual, but it does say in the bible that homosexuality is a sin...It is simply better to avoid something that could eventually cause a person to sin...Not all things are avoidable, but when they are, a person should...

Also, I like learning about the asian culture and about different religions because it helps me understand more about what other people believe so that when I share the gospel with them I do not offend them...

I think you misunderstand the word "homophobic." If you find homosexuality to be of a wicked or sinful nature than you are a homophobe. It's as simple as that.
Fun fact: The original Hebrew language didn't even have a word for "homosexual." The word often translated that way, refers to temple prostitutes. The reason: Our understanding of the language was rather laughable at the time. Kinda funny when you think that there are branches of Christianity based on the literal interpretation of such a poorly translated document, don't you think? Sure grants a little validity to some of those new translations that no one seems to have ever heard of.
As for Sodom, based on what I know of your deity, it seems that the fact that they were planning to rape angels would upset than the fact that the sex was gay. That and he was already thinking of destroying the city for other unnamed evil acts.
You know... Just food for thought.

Homophobic means that you are afraid of homosexual people (Greek and Latin root word of "phobic" is fear, not thinking something is sinful)...And I don't treat people any differently based on their sexual preferance because we are all sinners and all need Christ...All sin is sin and no sin is worse than another...Also, any form of sexual immorality is sinful and homosexuality is in that category...God created Adam and Eve, Male and Female for a reason...

To put it boldly because I don't know any other way to say it, many people say that the bible is unrealible because it is a "weak" translation of the original hebrew text, but most just use that excuse for not following it...I apologize if that is offensive, but I really don't know any respectful way to say it...

Sodom and Gomorrah had sexually immoral and sinful citizens, yes, and that is why God destoyed them, not just because the men tried to sleep with the angels God sent...Sexual immorallity includes homosexuallity, having sex before marriage, and any other unnatural sexual act...

No, as used in the English vernacular, the word covers both hate and fear.
So you think that our understanding of Hebrew now is not significantly better than it was then? I will have no choice but to call you out for gross ignorance. It will be clear that there is no point in talking to you, henceforth as you are obviously unreachable through any application of logic or reason. You believe what you believe and you clearly have your eyes shut tight to anything outside of it.

Bleach does mention shinigami a lot, but there's also some good stuff in there, too. For instance, the relationship between Zangetsu and Ichigo gave me a lot of insight into my relationship with God. The question you ask yourself is, "if I watch this, will I be closer to God?"
